Guangzhou Charge is a Chinese esports team founded in 2018 that competes in the Overwatch League (OWL). The Charge began playing competitive Overwatch in the 2019 season.

Contents

All rostered players during the OWL season (including the playoffs) are included, even if they did not make an appearance.

Guangzhou Charge Chinese professional esports team

Guangzhou Charge is a Chinese professional Overwatch esports team based in Guangzhou, China. The Charge compete in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's East region. Founded in 2018, Guangzhou Charge began play as one of eight expansion teams in 2019 and is one of four professional Overwatch teams based in China. The team is owned by Nenking Group and is managed by the esports brand of Nenking, Ultra Prime Esports.

Uprising Academy American Overwatch team

Uprising Academy is an American esports team for the video game Overwatch competing in Overwatch Contenders (OWC) and an academy team for the Boston Uprising of the Overwatch League (OWL). The franchise played its first four seasons as Toronto Esports; shortly after being purchased by the Kraft Group, the team rebranded as Uprising Academy due to a naming rights issue with Toronto Defiant. The team is based in Boston, Massachusetts and currently plays in the North American region of OWC.

The 2021 Guangzhou Charge season was the third season of Guangzhou Charge's existence in the Overwatch League and was their first season under head coach Lee "Arachne" Ji-won. After a poor start to the season, the Charge released head coach Lee "Arachne" Ji-won on May 6 and signed Sung-woo "Sungwoo" Hong as their new head coach on June 17. They finished the season with a 5–11 record and did not qualify any postseason matches for the first time in franchise history.

The 2021 Toronto Defiant season will be the third season of Toronto Defiant's existence in the Overwatch League and the team's first under head coach Kim "KDG" Dong-gun.

Fleta (gamer) South Korean professional Overwatch player

Kim Byung-sun, better known by his online alias Fleta, is a South Korean professional Overwatch player for the Shanghai Dragons of the Overwatch League (OWL). Prior to the OWL's inception, he played for Flash Lux and had a brief stint playing for Lunatic-Hai. Kim signed with the Seoul Dynasty of the OWL in its inaugural season. After two years with the Dynasty, he signed with the Shanghai Dragons.
