This is a list of all cricketers who have played first-class or List A matches for Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan cricket team. [1] The team played twenty first-class matches between 1980 and 1981 and four List A matches in 1981. [2] [3] Seasons given are first and last seasons; the player did not necessarily play in all the intervening seasons.

Mohammad Javed Miandad, popularly known as Javed Miandad, is a Pakistani cricket coach, commentator and former cricketer known for his unconventional style of captaincy and batting. ESPNcricinfo described him as "the greatest batsman Pakistan has ever produced" and his contemporary Ian Chappell extolled him as one of the finest batsmen in the history of cricket. He played for Pakistan in Tests and One-Day Internationals between 1975 and 1996. Noted for his unique technique and impressive control, Miandad has won accolades and applause from cricket historians as well as contemporaries. Miandad was ranked 44th among the best cricketers of all time by the ESPN Legends of Cricket. He has served as a captain of the Pakistan team. After his playing career, Miandad has remained the coach of Pakistan cricket team at various occasions, as well as held key positions in the Pakistan Cricket Board. He had three coaching stints with the Pakistan national team.

The Pakistan national cricket team toured Australia in the 1989–90 season, under the captaincy of Imran Khan. The series set a Pakistan team, regarded as one of the strongest in the world against an Australian team returning from an unexpectedly successful tour of England. The series was marred by a series of incidents and conflicts, including a walk off by the Pakistani players during a tour match against Victoria in protest at an umpire's ruling. The three Test series was won by Australia 1–0.

The Habib Bank Limited cricket team was a first-class cricket side, sponsored by the Habib Bank Limited, who competed in Pakistan domestic cricket since the 1975-76 season. The team’s current Captain Shahid Afridi. In April 2019, Habib Bank Limited did not renew players' contracts and ended the team.

Cricket in Pakistan cricket is our life

The history of Cricket in Pakistan predates the creation of the country in 1947. The first ever international cricket match in what is Pakistan today was held in Karachi on November 22, 1935 between Sindhi and Australian cricket teams. The match was seen by 5,000 Karachiites. It was introduced by the British during their colonial rule of British India, which covered the area now known as Pakistan. Cricket is the most popular sport in the country.

Tahir Rasheed is a Pakistani cricketer who hold the record for a wicket-keeper to dismiss most number of batsmen in an innings in first-class cricket, for Habib Bank against Pakistan Automobiles Corporation at Gujranwala in 1992-93.

Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan were a Pakistani first-class cricket team sponsored by the Industrial Development Bank of Pakistan. They played in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy between 1979–80 and 1981–82.

The 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was a first-class domestic cricket competition in Pakistan that ran between 1 October and 15 December 2016. Sixteen teams competed, with twelve of those automatically qualifying from last year's tournament based on their performance. The other four places were allocated to teams who came through a qualifying round. Ten of the matches, including the two Super Eight fixtures and the final, were played as day/night games, in preparation for Pakistan's tour to Australia in December 2016.
