Government Islamia College Civil Lines, formerly called Dayanand Anglo Vedic College, is a government college in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Founded by Arya Samaj as the school of Dayanand Anglo Vedic on June 1, 1886, It was later renamed Dayanand Anglo Vedic (DAV) College after Hindu leader Dayananda Saraswati.
The Pakistan cricket team toured England in the 1974 season to play a three-match Test series against England. The first Test of the series was England's 500th Test match. The series was tied 0-0 with all three matches drawn. The team completed their 22-match itinerary undefeated, the first touring team to do so in England since 1948.

Shan Masood Khan, also spelled as Shaan Masood, is a Kuwaiti-born international cricketer and the current captain of the Pakistan Test cricket team. He plays for, and is the captain of, Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Karachi Kings. He is a left-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Pakistan won the series 1-0, marking their first Test series victory outside Pakistan. The 2004–05 ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup was the first edition of the ABN-AMRO Twenty-20 Cup, a domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan sponsored by ABN AMRO. It was held from 25 to 30 April 2005 in Lahore. The Faisalabad Wolves won the tournament by defeating the Karachi Dolphins in the final. As the winners, the Faisalabad Wolves were invited to compete in the International 20:20 Club Championship in September 2005, which they also won.
Combined Services (Pakistan) cricket team were a first-class cricket team for members of the Pakistan Armed Forces. They competed in Pakistan's first-class tournaments between 1953–54 and 1978–79.
