Dreyer & Reinbold Racing is an automotive racing organization that competes in the IndyCar Series and Nitrocross. The team is owned by Indianapolis BMW, Infiniti, Volkswagen, MINI, and Subaru dealer Dennis Reinbold.
James Douglas Meredith Hinchcliffe is a Canadian race car driver and commentator best known for competing in the IndyCar Series. Hinchcliffe won six races for Andretti Autosport and Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. In 2015, his first year driving for Schmidt Peterson, he suffered life-threatening blood loss when he was impaled in a crash when his suspension failed while practicing for the Indianapolis 500. He would recover and win the pole position for the following year's race. In 2016, he appeared on season 23 of the ABC series Dancing with the Stars, finishing in second place. He's often called by his nicknames "Hinch" and "the Mayor of Hinchtown". James is 5 foot, 4 inches tall and weighs 157 pounds.
The 2009 IndyCar Series was the 14th season of the IndyCar Series. The 17-race season began on April 5, and its premier event, the 93rd Indianapolis 500 was held May 24. All races were broadcast on ABC or Versus in high-definition. It represented the 98th recognized season of top-level American open wheel racing.
James D. Davison is an Australian professional racing driver who drives an Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the Blancpain GT World Challenge America. He has also competed in the NTT IndyCar Series, NASCAR Cup Series, and NASCAR Xfinity Series. He is sometimes also called JD Davison.
Kim Green is a British-Australian former racing driver who was the co-owner and Chief Executive Officer of Andretti Green Racing, a racing team in the Indycar Series.
The 2008 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg was the second round of the 2008 IndyCar Series season and took place on April 6, 2008 at the 1.8-mile (2.9 km) temporary street and airport circuit on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. The race was a time-limited race due to rain, with the race falling some seventeen laps short of full race distance. The race was won by Graham Rahal on his IndyCar Series debut, having missed the first round at Homestead-Miami Speedway, due to a lack of spare parts for his #06 Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing machine.
Josef Nicolai Newgarden is an American racing driver who competes in the IndyCar Series full-time for Team Penske. He is the 2011 Indy Lights champion, and the 2017 and 2019 IndyCar Series Champion. He won the 2023 Indianapolis 500 and the 2024 24 Hours of Daytona.
Scott Thomas McLaughlin is a New Zealand racing driver. He currently competes in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 3 Dallara-Chevrolet for Team Penske. He previously raced in the Supercars Championship, in which he won the drivers' title in 2018, 2019 and 2020.

The 2016 Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg was the first round of the 2016 IndyCar Series. The race was held on March 13, 2016 in St. Petersburg, Florida on the city's temporary street circuit. Team Penske driver Will Power qualified on pole for the race, but was diagnosed with a concussion shortly after the conclusion of the session and was forced to miss the race. Oriol Servià filled in place of Power. Second place qualifier Simon Pagenaud inherited the pole position.
The 2020 Indy Lights season was to have been the 35th season of the Indy Lights open wheel motor racing series and the 19th sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. The opening round at St. Petersburg was suspended mid-way due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The following rounds were also delayed, as a revised calendar was released on March 26, 2020. The season was later cancelled entirely and the series went into a hiatus until 2021, making it the first time in history that the Indy Lights season did not run.
