MTV, the first and most popular music television network in the U.S. has a long history of hosting live music events in which awards are presented. Along with MTV's related channels around the world, the network produces over 20 award shows annually. This list of MTV award shows links to further information about each of these shows.

VH1 is an American basic cable television network that launched on January 1, 1985, and is currently owned by the BET Media Group subsidiary of Paramount Global's CBS Entertainment Group based in New York City. The network was originally owned by Warner-Amex Satellite Entertainment; a division of Warner Communications, and the original owner of then-sister channel MTV at the time. It was launched in the channel space of Turner Broadcasting System's short-lived Cable Music Channel.
TMF was a music video and entertainment channel in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The channel was owned by Viacom International Media Networks and was originally a Dutch channel. Formed after the two other TMF stations, which were based in mainland Europe, the channel was created to counter against EMAP's The Hits channel on the new free-to-air digital terrestrial television service Freeview in 2002. The channel ceased broadcasting on 26 October 2009.
Casey Wyatt Miller, known professionally as KC Montero, is a Filipino-American radio DJ and actor currently based in the Philippines. He is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Head of Content at Kumu.
"Dhoom Dhoom" is the title track and single composed by Pritam and sung by the pop singer, Tata Young for the 2004 film and album, Dhoom. Dhoom was released in August 2004, going on to win several awards and took on international fame. It quickly soared high on the billboards top in 2004 to 2005.
MTV's International Viewer's Choice awards honored the best music videos as voted for by the audiences of MTV's channels around the world. They were given out every year during the VMAs from 1989 to 2003.
Viacom International Inc. is the international division of the Paramount Media Networks subsidiary of Paramount Global that oversees the production, broadcasting and promotion of its brands outside of the United States. These brands include Paramount Network, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and BET, as well as CBS-branded channels co-owned with AMC Networks International. PIN also owned a 30% stake in the Rainbow S.p.A. animation studio in Italy from 2011 to 2023 and a stake in Viacom18, an Indian joint venture with domestic partner TV18, from 2007 to 2024.
Nickelodeon is a pan-Asian pay television channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA and owned by Paramount International Networks, based in Singapore and broadcast to audiences in Southeast Asia and certain regions in Oceania like Polynesia and Papua New Guinea. The channel was launched on 1998 and mainly broadcasts original series from Nickelodeon's namesake television channel in the United States.

The MTV MIAW Awards is an annual program of Latin American music awards, presented by the cable channel MTV Latin America to honor the best of Latin music and youth culture. Winners receive a statuette of a cat, in reference to cat memes as a symbol of Internet culture. The ceremony has been held in Mexico City since its first edition on July 16, 2013. In 2020 there was no ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MTVU is an American digital cable TV channel owned by the MTV Entertainment Group, a unit of the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global. The channel was first known as VH1 Uno from 2000 to 2004 before changing names when Viacom expanded MTVU programming beyond more than 750 college and university campuses across the United States, as part of internally originated cable systems that are a part of on-campus housing or college closed-circuit television systems to digital cable in all homes. Music videos played on the channel primarily consist of indie rock, pop punk and hip-hop along with limited original programming. MTVU also launched a short-lived campus guide and social media network called Campusdailyguide.com in 2008.
