Monford Merrill "Monte" Irvin was an American left fielder and right fielder in the Negro leagues and Major League Baseball (MLB) who played with the Newark Eagles, New York Giants (1949–1955) and Chicago Cubs (1956). He grew up in New Jersey and was a standout football player at Lincoln University. Irvin left Lincoln to spend several seasons in Negro league baseball. His career was interrupted by military service from 1943 to 1945.
Omar Rafael Infante [in-FAHN-tay] is a Venezuelan former professional baseball second baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, Miami Marlins, and Kansas City Royals. He was an All-Star in 2010, and won a World Series in 2015. While primarily a second baseman, he has experience at every position except for pitcher, catcher, and first base.
César David Izturis is a Venezuelan former professional baseball shortstop. He is the half-brother of shortstop Maicer Izturis.

Garth Ray Iorg is an American former professional baseball player who played his entire career for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also worked as the first base coach for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Ryan Stewart Theriot is a former Major League Baseball shortstop and second baseman. He played for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, and San Francisco Giants between 2005 and 2012.

Garth Cale Iorg is an American former professional baseball player. He is the son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) player Garth Iorg and nephew of former MLB player Dane Iorg. Iorg played college baseball for the Alabama Crimson Tide. After his freshman season at Alabama, Iorg put his baseball career on hold to go on a Mormon mission to Lisbon, Portugal. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers shortly before he returned from the mission. Iorg was ranked as the third best prospect in the Tigers organization by Baseball America following the 2008 season.
Frederick Bidds "Happy" Iott was an American professional baseball center fielder. He played in Major League Baseball with the Cleveland Naps in 1903. He was born in Houlton, Maine, and pitched for the town team there. In 1897, he was on the Houlton team that won the state championship.
