North West Warriors cricket team were established in 2013 to represent the Northern Cricket Union in Ireland, and accorded first-class status in 2017, playing in the Irish Inter-Provincial Championship. [1]
Since then, they have played first-class, List A and Twenty20 cricket at a number of different home grounds. Their first home first-class match was against Northern Knights in 2017 at Woodvale Road in Eglinton, County Londonderry. [2]
North West Warriors have played five home first-class matches, [2] 13 List A matches, [3] and 11 Twenty20 matches at three different home grounds. [4]

Bready is a small village in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. In the 2001 Census, it had a population of 93 people. It lies within the Strabane District Council area. It is roughly 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Derry.

Bready Cricket Club is a cricket club located in the village of Magheramason, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, playing in North West Senior League 1. The club are the current holders of the North West Senior Cup.
Richard Beamish Cricket Grounds are a cricket ground in the Mardyke, Cork, Ireland. The cricket field and facilities are located on the southern bank of the River Lee, and overlooked by University College Cork and St Vincent's Catholic Church. The ground is officially named after Richard Beamish, but it is generally called The Mardyke after the area where it is situated, or the Cricket Club as it is the home ground of Cork County Cricket Club. The Munster representative provincial side, the Munster Reds, also use The Mardyke as their home ground.

The 2016 Inter-Provincial Championship is the fourth season of the Inter-Provincial Championship, the domestic three-day cricket competition of Ireland. The competition is played between Leinster Lightning, Northern Knights and North West Warriors. The championship will be sponsored by Hanley Energy and will be observed International Cricket Council. The championship is in Strategic Plan of Cricket Ireland success to achieve Test Status for the national team.

Ryan MacBeth is an Irish cricketer. He made his first-class debut for North West Warriors in the 2017 Inter-Provincial Championship on 30 August 2017. He made his List A debut for North West Warriors in the 2018 Inter-Provincial Cup on 16 July 2018. He made his Twenty20 debut on 25 June 2021, for North West Warriors in the 2021 Inter-Provincial Trophy.
The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Ireland in June and July 2019 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. All the matches were played at the Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast and the Bready Cricket Club Ground in Magheramason. Zimbabwe last toured Ireland in 2003.
William Timothy Edward Smale is a Welsh cricketer. He made his first-class debut for North West Warriors in the 2019 Inter-Provincial Championship on 12 August 2019 in Ireland. Prior to his first-class debut, he played for the Ireland under-19 cricket team in the Division 1 Europe Qualifier of the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup qualification tournament. He was the leading run-scorer for the team in the tournament, with 185 runs in five matches.
