Residential halls and apartments

There are eight traditional dormitories on campus:

There are three apartment buildings on the Upper Campus, all of which are six-person units (divided into three two-person bedrooms), and all of which were completed in 1988 near the corner of Huxley Avenue and Eaton Street on the Upper Campus side. Their completion was partially funded with money from the men's basketball team's 1987 Final Four appearance:

There are three apartment buildings on the Lower Campus along Huxley Avenue, both finished in 1994 with four-person units divided into two two-person bedrooms.

Athletic facilities

In addition, the school has numerous outdoor facilities, including:

The golf team practices at local courses, the sailing team practices at the Rhode Island Yacht Club and the Ultimate Disc team rotates their practice locations.

Additionally, there is a Power Plant located on upper campus (next to the Peterson Recreation Center), a Physical Plant located on the Lower Campus (in the far northeastern corner, behind Hunt-Cavanaugh Hall and the Ceramics Building), and the Security Office, located next to the Huxley Gate. Prior to the completion of the Concannon Center and the Friar Field Hockey & Lacrosse Complex and its corresponding parking lot redesign, a small white house, known as the Thomas House, was located next to the cemetery, near where the intersection of Annie Street and Wardlaw Avenue would have been. This house was long used as the host building for the commencement speaker.

Another house, the Antoninus House, is located across Eaton Street from Cunningham Hall. It is owned by the college and used for alumni events and other purposes.

Dillard University is a private, historically black university in New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 1930 and incorporating earlier institutions founded as early as 1869 after the American Civil War, it is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the United Methodist Church.

Chaminade College Preparatory School (Missouri) Private, all-boys school in Creve Coeur, Missouri, United States

Chaminade College Preparatory School is an independent, Roman Catholic school, of the Marianist Order, for boys in grades six through twelve in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Louis. The school is located in Creve Coeur, in west St. Louis County, Missouri. The school offers 7-day, 5-day, and temporary boarding. Students come from throughout the United States and from countries throughout the world. Canning Hall, the name of the dormitory, accommodates up to sixty-five residents. The school bears the name of Father William Joseph Chaminade, a priest who lived during the era of the French Revolution and who founded the religious order known as the Society of Mary (Marianists). The school maintains an active relationship with the Society of Mary through governance structures and the employment of lay and religious Marianists and maintaining this charism.

Johnson University is a private Christian university with its main campus in Kimberlin Heights, Tennessee, and a second campus in Kissimmee, Florida. It is affiliated with the Christian churches and churches of Christ, a branch of the Restoration Movement.

Missouri Southern State University

Missouri Southern State University is a public university in Joplin, Missouri, United States. It was established in 1937 as Joplin Junior College. It enrolled 4,346 students in Fall 2021.

Becker College was a private college in Worcester and Leicester, Massachusetts. Becker College traced its history from the union of two Massachusetts educational institutions—one founded in 1784 and the other in 1887. The college closed at the end of the 2020–21 academic year.

The De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, also referred to by its acronym DLSZ or De La Salle Zobel, is a private Catholic basic education institution for boys and girls run by the Philippine District of the De La Salle Brothers in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila, Philippines. It was opened in 1978 by the De La Salle Brothers because of the increasing number of students in the grade school department of the former De La Salle College in Manila.

Schneider Arena

Schneider Arena was named in honor of Rev. Herman D. Schneider, O.P., the founder of Providence College hockey and a longtime teacher at the school. It is located at the far northern end of campus, on the corner of Huxley Ave. and Admiral St., and is notable for the reflective energy-conserving ceiling that was installed in 1992.

Mount Saint Mary College Liberal arts college in Newburgh, New York, U.S.

Mount Saint Mary College is a private Catholic college in Newburgh, New York. It was founded in 1959 by the Dominican Sisters.

Maine Central Institute Private, boarding school in Pittsfield, Maine, United States

Saint Francis High School (Athol Springs, New York) Catholic private high school

Saint Francis High School is a Catholic, private college preparatory high school for young men that operates under the administration of the Saint Anthony of Padua Province of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual in Athol Springs, New York within the Diocese of Buffalo. The school was founded in 1927 by Fr. Justin Figas, OFM Conv. The school is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Alumni Hall (Providence) Basketball gymnasium at Providence College

Alumni Hall is the on-campus basketball gymnasium at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. It was built in 1955 and was the home court for the school's men's basketball program until 1972. The gymnasium has hosted the Providence College women's basketball team since its inception in 1974.

Talladega College

Talladega College (tal-uh-dee-guh)is a private, liberal arts, historically black college in Talladega, Alabama. It is Alabama's oldest private historically black college and offers 17 degree programs. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Central Christian College of the Bible is a private Christian college in Moberly, Missouri. Founded in 1957, it is accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education and focuses on biblical instruction and practical training for its students. It offers Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees and certificates in ministry-related programs. In 2020, Central began offering a graduate program for a Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership degree.

Providence Friars

The Providence Friars are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Providence College, located in Providence, Rhode Island. They compete in the Big East Conference for every sport except for ice hockey, where they compete in Hockey East. The Big East Conference was founded in 1979 by former athletic director and men's basketball coach Dave Gavitt. On December 15, 2012, Providence and the other seven Catholic, non-FBS schools announced that they were departing the Big East for a new conference; on March 7, 2013, it was officially confirmed that Providence's new conference would operate under the Big East name. The women's volleyball team, which had been an associate member of the America East Conference before the Big East split, remained in that conference for one more season before joining the Big East for the 2014 season.

Siena College American College

Siena College is a private Franciscan college in Loudonville, New York. Siena was founded by the Order of Friars Minor in 1937. The college was named after Bernardino of Siena, a 15th-century Italian Franciscan friar and preacher. St. Bernardine of Siena Friary is located on campus. It has 3,000 full-time students and offers undergraduate degrees in business, liberal arts, and sciences.

Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium

Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium is the on-campus soccer and lacrosse stadium at Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, United States. It was built in 2015 and is the home for the school's men's and women's soccer teams and men's lacrosse team.
