The Nebraska Cornhuskers women's volleyball team competes as part of NCAA Division I, representing the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in the Big Ten. Nebraska plays its home games at the Bob Devaney Sports Center and has sold out every home match since 2001. The team has been coached by John Cook since 2000.
The Honda Sports Award is an annual award in the United States, given to the best collegiate female athlete in each of twelve sports. Tammy Kay Williams is an American, former collegiate four-time All-American, four-time professional All-Star softball player and coach. She played her natural position at shortstop from 2006 to 2009 at Northwestern, as well as the Team USA and Chicago Bandits softball team. She owns Northwestern' softball team all-time career records in batting average, home runs, hits and total bases. She helped lead the Wildcats to a national runner up finish in the 2006 Women's College World Series. Williams was drafted tenth overall by the Chicago Bandits in the 2009 NPF Draft, winning two Cowles Cup championships in 2011 and 2015. She later worked as a sports broadcaster for the Big Ten and an assistant softball coach at Northern Illinois.
Daly Santana Morales is a Puerto Rican indoor volleyball player. She is a 1.85 m outside hitter. She is part of the Puerto Rican national team since 2011. At the age of 21, she competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Kathryn Rose Plummer is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for the United States women's national volleyball team and the Italian club Imoco Volley.

An All-American team is an honorary sports team composed of the best amateur players of a specific season for each team position—who in turn are given the honorific "All-America" and typically referred to as "All-American athletes", or simply "All-Americans". Walter Camp selected the first All-America team in the early days of American football in 1889. The 2020 NCAA Men's Soccer All-Americans are honorary lists that include All-American selections from the United Soccer Coaches (USC), Top Drawer Soccer (TDS), Soccer America (TSN), and College Soccer News for the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. All selectors choose at least a first, second, and third 11-man team.
Stephanie Samedy is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite hitter for Italian Series A1 team Imoco Volley Conegliano. She played collegiately at the University of Minnesota.
