Stephanie Samedy (born September 27, 1998) is an American professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite hitter for Italian Series A1 team Imoco Volley Conegliano. She played collegiately at the University of Minnesota.
Samedy is from Clermont, Florida and played volleyball at her high school, East Ridge. She was the first volleyball athlete in her high school's history to sign with a NCAA Division I program when she signed with Minnesota. [1] She was named an Under Armour All-American and was the 2016-17 Florida Gatorade Volleyball Player of the Year, recording 424 kills, 189 digs, and 25 blocks during her senior year. [2] She played on the youth and junior USA national teams, and won a silver medal at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship.
Samedy became the first player in Minnesota's history to earn AVCA First Team All-American honors as a freshman. In her freshman season, she led the team with 478 kills. In her sophomore season, she was again selected as a First Team All-American, and again led the team with 359 kills. As a junior, she was named a second team All-American and led the team with 353 kills. [2] She ended her career as a five time AVCA All-American at the University of Minnesota. She was eligible to receive the award five time due to the extra year of eligibility granted by the NCAA due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [3] She is one of only two five time All-Americans in NCAA history. [4] Samedy helped Minnesota to a conference championship in 2018 and an NCAA Final Four appearance in 2019. [5]
Samedy was named the Big Ten Player of the Year in 2020 and 2021. She finished her career as only the second player in conference history to surpass 2,000 kills and 1,500 digs. [4] She was named First Team All-Big Ten all five seasons, one of only two players in conference history to do so. [6]

Bricio played in the 2009 FIVB Girls Youth World Championship and again in 2011, finishing twelfth. She received the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games Best Scorer and Best Server awards and the Best Scorer award in the 2011 Youth Pan-American Cup, 2011 Junior Pan-American Cup and the 2013 Pan-American Cup.
Monica De Gennaro Santarelli is an Italian professional volleyball player. She plays for Imoco Volley Conegliano and for the Italy women's national volleyball team. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is 1.74 m tall.
Kimberly Hill is an American former professional volleyball player who played as an outside hitter for the United States women's national volleyball team. Hill won gold with the national team at the 2014 World Championship and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, and bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Daly Santana Morales is a Puerto Rican indoor volleyball player. She is a 1.85 m outside hitter. She is part of the Puerto Rican national team since 2011. At the age of 21, she competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Paola Ogechi Egonu is an Italian professional volleyball player. She plays for Italian volleyball club Vero Volley Milano and is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team.
Micha Danielle Hancock is an American indoor volleyball player for the United States women's national volleyball team. Hancock played setter for the Penn State women's volleyball team, and won back-to-back national championships in 2013 and 2014. Megan Eileen Courtney-Lush is an American indoor professional volleyball player for the Columbus Fury of the Pro Volleyball Federation and the United States women's national volleyball team. Courtney played outside hitter for the Penn State women's volleyball team, and won back to back national championships in 2013 and 2014. With the USA national team, she played at the 2017 FIVB World Grand Prix. She was named the best libero at the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. Courtney was also selected as an alternate to the 2020 USA Olympic Team but did not travel to Tokyo.
Chiaka Sylvia Ogbogu is an American professional volleyball player. She plays for VakıfBank S.K. and the United States women's volleyball team. She participated in the 2018 Pan American Cup and the 2018 and 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League.
Dana Lynn Rettke is an American professional volleyball player for Vero Volley Monza in the Italian Serie A1 League. She played collegiate volleyball at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is the first five-time AVCA First Team All American in collegiate history. Rettke was also a member of the U.S. national team and has won All-Big Ten honors in each of her five college seasons, was the 2019–20 Big Ten Female Athlete of the Year and the 2021-2022 winner of the Honda Sports Award for women's volleyball.
