Anton Melik was a Slovene geographer.
Parliamentary elections were held in Slovenia on Sunday, 3 October 2004 to elect the 90 deputies of the National Assembly. A total of 1,390 male and female candidates ran in the election, organized into 155 lists. The lists were compiled both by official political parties and the groups of voters not registered as political parties. Five candidates applied for the seat of the representative of the Hungarian "national community" and only one candidate applied for the seat of the representative of the Italian national community. In the previous election (2000), fewer than 1000 candidates on 155 lists applied.

The Kavšek Bridge or Kauschegg Bridge, sometimes listed as the Karchegger Bridge, is a one-arch stone bridge crossing Glinščica Creek in Podutik, a neighbourhood in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It was built by the board of the first district road and named after Franz Kauschegg, who led the works. It is part of Podutik Street and is used as a walkway and for a bicycle lane; a new bridge for motorised traffic has been built next to it.

Zgornji Kašelj is a formerly independent settlement in the eastern part of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It lies on a terrace above the left bank of the Ljubljanica River and extends west to Vevče and the source of Bajer Creek. It is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. The western part of the settlement was known as Dravlje, but this name passed out of use in the 20th century.
Bizovik is a formerly independent settlement southeast of the capital Ljubljana in central Slovenia. It belongs to the City Municipality of Ljubljana. It is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region. Parts of the settlement include V Dolini along the road toward Orle, Zgornji Konec or Nazaret around the church to the northwest, Pod Kopalom from the church down to the valley, and Na Vasi in the north.
