Teletubbies is a British children's television series created by Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport for the BBC. The programme focuses on four differently coloured characters known as the Teletubbies,named after the television screens on their bellies. Recognised throughout popular culture for the uniquely shaped antenna protruding from the head of each character,the Teletubbies communicate through gibberish and were designed to bear resemblance to toddlers.

Bananas in Pyjamas is an Australian children's television series that first aired on 20 July 1992 on ABC. It has since been syndicated in many countries and dubbed into other languages. In the United States,the "Pyjamas" in the title was modified to reflect the American spelling pajamas. It aired in syndication from 1995 to 1997 as a half-hour series,then became a 15-minute show paired with a short-lived 15-minute series The Crayon Box,under a 30-minute block produced by Sachs Family Entertainment titled Bananas in Pajamas &The Crayon Box. Additionally,the characters and a scene from the show were featured in the Kids for Character sequel titled Kids for Character:Choices Count. The pilot episode was Pink Mug.
Hetty Wainthropp Investigates is a British crime drama television series,starring Patricia Routledge as the title character,Henrietta "Hetty" Wainthropp,that aired for four series between 3 January 1996 and 4 September 1998 on BBC One. The series,spawned from a pilot episode entitled "Missing Persons" aired by ITV in 1990,was co-created by writers David Cook and John Bowen,co-starred Derek Benfield as Hetty's patient husband Robert,and Dominic Monaghan as her assistant and lodger Geoffrey Shawcross. The show was aimed at children aged from one to six years old. The programme is narrated by Derek Jacobi. It is filmed in live action and features a mix of actors in costume,stop motion,puppetry and CGI animation. The characters include Igglepiggle,Upsy Daisy,Makka Pakka,the Tombliboos,the Pontipines,the Wottingers,the HaaHoos,the Ninky Nonk,the Pinky Ponk,the Ball and the Tittifers.
"Teletubbies say 'Eh-oh!'" is a hit single recorded by the Teletubbies. It is mostly a remix of the theme song from the hit BBC children's television series Teletubbies. The song contains two nursery rhymes:the Teletubbies hum along to "Baa,Baa,Black Sheep" and the flowers from Teletubbyland sing "Mary,Mary,Quite Contrary".
