This is an episode list for the 1997 TV series, Tenchi in Tokyo (Shin Tenchi Muyo! in Japan). The series is yet, another retelling of the original Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVAs, like the Tenchi Universe TV series. It is produced by AIC and Pioneer LDC. The show aired on TV Tokyo on April 1, 1997 to September 23, 1997. The show was later aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block from August 25, 2000 to September 29, 2000. [1] [2]

It was licensed in the US by Pioneer Entertainment who released the series on VHS and DVD until shutting down in 2007. [3] In 2010, Funimation Entertainment announced that a handful of former Geneon titles were licensed including Tenchi in Tokyo. A complete box set was released on November 13, 2012. [4]

Tenchi Muyo! is a Japanese anime, light novel and manga franchise. The original series began with a six-episode OVA called Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki created by Masaki Kajishima and directed by Hiroki Hayashi, and released in Japan on September 25, 1992. The series was released by Pioneer LDC in the United Kingdom in 1994. As its popularity grew, it spurred a seventh episode titled Tenchi Muyo! Special: The Night Before the Carnival and a stand-alone Tenchi Muyo! Mihoshi Special. A second OVA series was directed by Kenichi Yatagai that was released in 1994, and a third OVA series, also directed by Yatagai, was released in 2003.
Last Exile is a Japanese anime television series created by Gonzo. It featured a production team led by director Koichi Chigira, character designer Range Murata, and production designer Mahiro Maeda. The three had previously worked together in Blue Submarine No. 6, one of the first CG anime series. Last Exile aired on TV Tokyo from April to September 2003. A sequel series, Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-, aired from October 2011 to March 2012. A film adaptation of the series, Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-: Over the Wishes, was released in February 2016.

The company also sub-licenses anime titles from US anime companies such as Media Blasters, Geneon, Nozomi Entertainment, Urban Vision, AnimEigo and US Manga Corps, which do not have a UK presence, and releases them on Region 2 DVD. Hellsing is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kouta Hirano. It was serialized in Young King OURs from May 1997 to September 2008. The series chronicles the efforts of the mysterious and secret Hellsing Organization as it combats vampires, ghouls, and other supernatural foes who threaten England. The individual chapters were subsequently collected and published in 10 tankōbon volumes by Shōnen Gahōsha. The series was licensed for English language release in North America by Dark Horse Comics. From 2001 to 2009, Hirano released a 6-chapter prequel series, Hellsing: The Dawn, in special editions of Young King OURs.
