Captain Marvel, also known as Shazam and the Captain, is a superhero in American comic books originally published by Fawcett Comics and currently published by DC Comics. Artist C. C. Beck and writer Bill Parker created the character in 1939. Captain Marvel first appeared in Whiz Comics #2, published by Fawcett Comics. He is the alter ego of Billy Batson, a boy who, by speaking the magic word "SHAZAM!", is transformed into a costumed adult with the powers of superhuman strength, speed, flight, and other abilities. The character battles an extensive rogues' gallery, most of them working in tandem as the Monster Society of Evil, including primary archenemies Black Adam, Doctor Sivana and Mister Mind. Billy often shares his powers with other children, primarily his sister Mary Batson and their best friend/foster brother Freddy Freeman, who also transform into superheroes and fight crime with Billy as members of the Marvel Family, also known as the Shazam Family.
Hawk and Dove are a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Steve Ditko and Steve Skeates, they appeared in Showcase #75 during the Silver Age of Comic Books. The duo has existed in multiple incarnations over the years across several eponymous ongoing series and miniseries, and has also appeared in a number of recurring roles and guest appearances in titles such as Teen Titans, Birds of Prey, and Brightest Day. The duo originated as teenage brothers Hank Hall as Hawk and Don Hall as Dove. Following Don's death in Crisis on Infinite Earths (1985), Dawn Granger assumed the role of Dove in Hawk & Dove #1. The mantle of Hawk would later be taken up by Dawn's sister Holly Granger in 2003 after Hank was killed during 1994's Zero Hour: Crisis in Time! until her death and Hank's resurrection in Blackest Night (2009). An unrelated team consisting of military cadet Sasha Martens as Hawk and rock musician Wiley Wolverman as Dove also appeared as the focus of a 1997 miniseries. The pairing of Hank and Dawn serve as the current and most commonly published incarnation of the team.
The Marvel Family, also known as the Shazam Family, are a group of superheroes who originally appeared in books published by Fawcett Comics and were later acquired by DC Comics. Created in 1942 by writer Otto Binder and artist Marc Swayze, the team was created as an extension of Fawcett's Captain Marvel franchise, and included Marvel's sister Mary Marvel, their friend Captain Marvel Jr., and, at various times, a number of other characters as well.
Incorruptible is an American comic book series written by Mark Waid and published by Boom! Studios. The series follows former supervillain Max Damage in his quest to become a superhero. The book is a spin-off of another Waid comic, Irredeemable, which follows the transformation of a superhero into a supervillain. Incorruptible #1 was published on December 16, 2009, and the series ended in May 2012, after thirty issues. Marcio Takara is the longest-serving artist on the series, having provided art for sixteen issues since Incorruptible #11 in October 2010. The series concluded alongside Irredeemable in May 2012.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend is a 2006 American superhero romantic comedy film directed by Ivan Reitman and starring Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson with Anna Faris, Eddie Izzard, Rainn Wilson and Wanda Sykes in supporting roles. In the film, when a regular guy (Wilson) dumps a superhero (Thurman) for her neediness, she uses her powers to make his life a living hell.
The New Heroes is a series of novels and short stories by Michael Carroll, first published in January 2006 by HarperCollins in the UK. The stories centre on realistic depictions of superhuman abilities manifesting in the world and the subsequent appearance of superheroes and villains. The first trilogy follows young adolescents as they become aware of their abilities and the danger that those powers may put them in. In December 2007, the author published a collection of short stories entitled Superhuman, which expanded upon the mythology.
Soon I Will Be Invincible is a novel by Austin Grossman, published by Pantheon Books and released on June 5, 2007. The novel uses two alternating first person narratives—the first told from the point of view of Fatale, a female cyborg recruited by the superhero group The New Champions as they investigate the disappearance of a superhero named CoreFire. The other narrative is told from the point of view of Dr. Impossible, a supervillain possessing super-human strength and intellect who suffers from Malign Hypercognition Disorder. The plot follows Impossible's thirteenth attempt to take over the world after escaping from prison.

Groove Squad Cheerleaders is a 2002 animated television film produced by DIC Entertainment as part of the DIC Movie Toons series of movies and DIC Films UK Limited, which debuted on Nickelodeon in the United States and Cartoon Network in the United Kingdom on November 24, 2002 and was later released on VHS and DVD by MGM Home Entertainment and eventually airing internationally on Disney Channel and Toon Disney. The titular squad consists of three high school cheerleaders and best friends, who end up gaining superpowers after being accidentally zapped by a jolt of electricity from a deranged mad scientist. With help from their team mascot and their hairstylist, a former Mi6-agent, the three cheerleaders learn to use their newfound powers while hiding their newfound identities, to become superheroines and defeat the power-hungry mad scientist, and also win the annual cheerleading competition. Notably, it was the only movie in DIC Movie Toons that was a completely original concept; it was neither based on an older cartoon nor adapted from a classic literature story. The film features famous celebrity Jennifer Love Hewitt as the voice of Chrissy.
G-Man is an all-ages comic book written and illustrated by Chris Giarrusso and published by Image Comics. The comic has been published in the form of back-ups in other comic books as well as original one-shots and trade paperback collections. The comic features a young superhero who gains the powers of super strength, super endurance and flight when he wears a magic cape. G-Man and his friends were introduced in Giarrusso's "Comic Bits", published in Image's Savage Dragon series. There are two G-Man collections: Learning to Fly and Cape Crisis. The first volume, Learning to Fly, was published in 2009 by Image Comics. The second novel, Cape Crisis, was published in 2010. The character G-MAN previously made small appearances in the Savage Dragon series.
The Thundermans is an American comedy television series created by Jed Spingarn that aired on Nickelodeon from October 14, 2013 to May 25, 2018. The series stars Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Chris Tallman, Rosa Blasi, and Maya Le Clark, and features the voice of Dana Snyder as Dr. Colosso. In March 2023, a follow-up film titled The Thundermans Return was announced, which was released on March 7, 2024.

Supervized is a 2019 comedy superhero film, directed by Steve Barron. The film was produced by Barron and Kieran Corrigan and starring Tom Berenger, Beau Bridges, Fionnula Flanagan, Louis Gossett Jr., Elya Baskin and Fiona Glascott. It was released on July 19, 2019, in the United States, under a limited showing and on video on demand, and December 12, 2019, worldwide.

The Thundermans Return is a 2024 American superhero comedy film directed by Trevor Kirschner and written by Jed Spingarn, Sean W. Cunningham, and Marc Dworkin. It is a follow-up film to the comedy television series The Thundermans (2013–18), created by Spingarn. The film stars Kira Kosarin, Jack Griffo, Addison Riecke, Diego Velazquez, Maya Le Clark, Chris Tallman, and Rosa Blasi, reprising their roles as the Thunderman family, alongside other characters reprising their roles. Filming began in early April 2023 in Los Angeles. It was released on March 7, 2024 on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon.
