<span class="mw-page-title-main">Speed skating at the Winter World University Games</span>

The Speed skating events have been contested at the Universiade since 1968. The sport have a special status at the event, because the host cities are not expected to build a speed skating rink specifically for the Universiade. In years where the Winter Universiade doesn't take place, or doesn't include speed skating, the World University Speed Skating Championships are sometimes held instead.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2019 Winter Universiade</span> Multi-sport event in Krasnoyarsk, Russia

The 2019 Winter Universiade, the XXIX Universiade, was a multi-sport event for student and youth athletes which took place from 2 to 12 March 2019 in the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk. The 2019 Winter Universiade was the third Universiade hosted in Russia and second as an independent country. The first Universiade, when Russia was a Soviet Republic, was hosted by Moscow in 1973, whereas Kazan, capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, hosted the 2013 Summer Universiade. It is the first Winter Universiade hosted by Russia, and the second time that the event was held in a former USSR republic.

Ice hockey at the 2013 Winter Universiade was held from December 10 through December 21 at the Municipal Ice Arena in Cavalese and Gianmario Scola Ice Hockey Arena in Val di Fassa and Ice Stadium in Pergine Valsugana. The selection of participating teams - 12 in the men's tournament and six in the women's tournament - was announced on July 31, 2013 while the draw to place the teams into their assigned pools took place on September 28, 2013.

Speed skating at the 2013 Winter Universiade was held at Baselga di Piné Stadio del Ghiaccio from 13 to 19 December 2013.

Figure skating at the 2017 Winter Universiade was held on February 1–5 at the Almaty Arena in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Medals were awarded in men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dancing.

Ice hockey at the 2017 Winter Universiade comprised two ice hockey tournaments – a men's tournament and a women's tournament – during the Almaty 2017 edition of the Universiade. The men's tournament was held from January 28 through February 8 at Halyk Arena and the women's tournament was held from January 28 to February 6 at Baluan Sholak Sports Palace.

The Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games, commonly known as Lake Placid 2023, was a collegiate multi-sport winter sports held between January 12 to January 22, 2023 and had Lake Placid, New York, United States, as main host city. Alongside Lake Placid, events were also hosted by neighbouring cities of Wilmington, Saranac Lake, Potsdam and North Creek also located at the New York state. The event is also known as the 31st Winter Universiade as administered by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).

Short track speed skating at the 2017 Winter Universiade was held from 5 to 7 February at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Adrien Tesson is a French figure skater. He is the 2018 International Challenge Cup champion, 2017 Ice Challenge bronze medalist, 2014 NRW Trophy bronze medalist, and 2019 French national bronze medalist.

Malaysia competed at the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. The Malaysia only had a sole competitor in figure skating.
