Uyuni is a city in the southwest of Bolivia.
Omasuyos or Uma Suyu is a province in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. Its capital is Achacachi.
Novales is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census (INE), the municipality has a population of 191 inhabitants. It is situated on a plain on the right bank of the river Guatizalema, about 16 km Southeast of Huesca.

Máximo de Meana y Guridi was a Spanish soldier and Mayor of Ponce, Puerto Rico, from 28 September 1882 until 31 May 1884. Meana y Guridi was interim mayor of Ponce from 28 September 1882 until 2 February 1883, and then mayor from 2 February 1883 until 31 May 1884. As a Spanish Army soldier, Maximo de Meana y Guridi held the rank of Lt. Colonel.
Chearoco, Chiaraco or Chiaroco is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia. It has a height of about 6,127 m (20,102 ft). It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Guanay Municipality, southeast of the peak of Aman Pata. Chearoco lies between Qalsata in the northwest and Chachakumani in the southeast.
Yolanda Lastra de Suárez is a Mexican linguist specializing in the descriptive linguistics of the indigenous languages of Mexico. She obtained her PhD degree in 1963 from Cornell University, her dissertation written under the guidance of Charles F. Hockett treating the syntax of Cochabamba Quechua in Bolivia. She was married to Argentinian linguist Jorge A. Suárez (1927-1985).
The Parapetí River is a river in Bolivia that has its source on the eastern side the Andes, flows through the Gran Chaco of Bolivia and ends in the marshes of the Bañados de Izozog depression. The drainage basin is 25,300 km2, and with the inclusion of the Bañados of Izozog is 61,903 km2.
Puerto Perez or Ch'ililaya (Aymara) is a location in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is the seat of the Puerto Pérez Municipality, the fourth municipal section of the Los Andes Province.
Azurduy Municipality is the first municipal section of Azurduy Province in the Chuquisaca Department of Bolivia. Its seat is Villa Azurduy. In 2012 the population was 10,594 persons. The municipality is very poor; in 2010 93% were below the poverty line, and 75% were in extreme poverty. In 2001 there were seven automobiles in the municipality.
Astete is a Spanish surname, from an ancient Basque - Castilian lineage. The etymology of "Astete" comes from the Basque language: "Aste" possibly a variation of "Arte" means oak, and "ete" is a suffix to nearby location. The most probable original locations, prior to the 16th century, are the regions of ancient Basque influence of the medieval Castile and modern La Rioja. The earliest official records of Astetes occur in La Rioja, in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, in the province of Valladolid and Quintanaélez in the province of Burgos. They were hidalgos and had casas solariegas in Quintanaélez (Burgos), Valladolid and Salamanca.
Julio Mario Luqui-Lagleyze is an Argentine historian. Born in Buenos Aires in 1959 received a degree in History in 1982. He specializes in Hispano-American Military and Naval History and Military Museology. He is currently studying for his PhD in History at the Universidad Católica Argentina.
The Archivo Nacional de la República de Cuba is the national archive of Cuba. Founded in 1840, it is located in Havana on Calle Compostela. Directors have included Vidal Morales Morales and Joaquín Llaverías Martínez.
Juan de Canaveris was an Piedmontese lawyer and politician, who served during the viceroyalty of Río de la Plata as accounting officer in the Tribunal de Cuentas de Buenos Aires. He had achieved a high social status in the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, where he supported the revolutionary movements of May, being the only neighbor of Italian origin who attended in the Open Cabildo, of May 22, 1810.
Juan Miguel de Esparza (1712–1766) was a Spanish military man, merchant and politician, who had a long career as a colonial official of the Viceroyalty of Peru, where he held the honorary positions of alcalde and regidor. He took part in numerous military expeditions aimed at controlling the Indigenous advance in the Province of Buenos Aires. He also served as lawyer, treasurer and Alférez real in charge of carrying the Royal Standard during the day of Saint Martin of Tours.
