<span class="mw-page-title-main">Mainie Jellett</span> Irish artist

Mary Harriet "Mainie" Jellett was an Irish painter whose Decoration (1923) was among the first abstract paintings shown in Ireland when it was exhibited at the Society of Dublin Painters Group Show in 1923. She was a strong promoter and defender of modern art in her country, and her artworks are present in museums in Ireland. Her work was also part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1928 Summer Olympics.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">W. H. Conn</span>

William H. Conn (1895–1973) was an Irish cartoonist, illustrator, watercolourist and poster artist. The son of a lithographer, he was educated at the Ulster Provincial School, now Friends' School, Lisburn. From 1936 he was a staff artist for the Belfast Telegraph and its sports sister paper Ireland's Saturday Night, creating a regular strip, "The Doings of Larry O'Hooligan", for the latter. He drew a monthly full-page illustration for Dublin Opinion magazine, sometimes satirical, sometimes observational scenes of rural and urban Irish life, sometimes ghostly gothic scenes, and also contributed spot cartoons. He created colour posters for Northern Ireland Railways and exhibited his watercolours and black and white drawings. He died on 25 August 1973 after a three-year illness. He was a lifelong bachelor.

Sarah Cecilia Harrison was an Irish artist and the first woman to serve on Dublin City Council.

Alexander Williams RHA was an Irish landscape and marine painter. He was also an ornithologist, taxidermist, and professional singer.

Flora Mitchell was an American-born Irish artist, remembered in particular for her mid-20th-century paintings of old Dublin architecture that has since disappeared.

(Frederick) George Campbell was an Irish artist and writer. Though he grew up in Belfast, Campbell spent much of his adult life living and painting in Spain and Dublin, Ireland.

Margretta Bowen, best known as Gretta Bowen was a self-taught Irish artist. She only started painting late in life, after her sons Arthur and George Campbell were already established as artists.

Mercy HunterHRUA PPRUA ARCA MBE was a Northern Irish artist, calligrapher and teacher. Hunter was a founding member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists, where she was later to become president and she was also a past president of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts.

Eileen Reid was an Irish painter and musician.

Maude Mary Ball, was an Irish artist working in both paintings and sculpture.

Olive HenryHRUA was a Northern Irish artist known for her painting, photography and stained glass design. She was a founding member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists and is believed to have been the only female stained glass artist working in Northern Ireland in the first half of the twentieth century.

Charles Vincent Lamb was an Irish landscape and portrait painter.

Myra Kathleen Hughes was an Irish artist and etcher, best known for her series Vanishing London.

Alice Berger Hammerschlag née Berger was an Austrian artist. She settled in Belfast and while creating abstract paintings also had a number of creative and administrative roles in Northern Ireland.

Hans Iten (1874–1930) was a Swiss-born artist who specialised in landscape and flower painting in Ireland, and was considered the finest flower painter in Ireland during his lifetime.

Georgina Moutray KyleHRUA was an Irish watercolour painter and pastel artist, and one of a select few Irish artists to have exhibited at the Paris Salon.

Theo Snoddy was a Northern Irish art historian and author of the Dictionary of Irish Artists: 20th century.
