Kënga Magjike is an annual competition, which has been broadcast every year since its debut in 1999, and the second longest-running television competition in Albania. Flori has participated seven times since its debut in 2003 and has won several awards. His first victory as a singer was in 2018 though he was additionally the composer of the winning entries "Hape Vetën" by Aurela Gaçe in 2007 and "Ma Zgjat Dorën" by Eneda Tarifa in the following 2019. Kënga Magjike is an annual music competition organised by the Albanian television broadcaster Televizioni Klan. The music competition has been broadcasting every year since its inauguration in 1999.
Kejsi Tola is an Albanian singer and songwriter. She is best known for representing Albania at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, after winning the 47th edition of Festivali i Këngës.

Albania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song "Fairytale", written by Olsa Toqi. The song was performed by Eneda Tarifa. The Albanian broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) organised the 54th edition of the Albanian song competition Festivali i Këngës in order to select the Albanian entry for the 2016 contest in Stockholm, Sweden. The competition consisted of thirty entries competing in two semi-finals held on 25 and 26 December 2015, followed by a final on 27 December 2015 where twenty-two entries qualified to compete. A seven-member jury panel selected "Përrallë", performed by Eneda Tarifa, as the winner. The song was later translated from Albanian to English for the Eurovision Song Contest and was titled "Fairytale".
