The Ensign of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly shortened to Ensign, was an official periodical of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1971 to 2020. The magazine was first issued in January 1971, along with the correlated New Era and the Friend. Each of these magazines replaced the older church publications The Improvement Era, Relief Society Magazine, The Instructor, and the Millennial Star. Melvin Russell Ballard Jr. is an American businessman and religious leader who is currently the Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been a member of the church's Quorum of the Twelve Apostles since 1985. As a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, Ballard is accepted by church members as a prophet, seer, and revelator. Currently, he is the third most senior apostle in the church.

Russell M. Nelson President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Russell Marion Nelson Sr. is an American religious leader and retired surgeon who is the 17th and current president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Nelson was a member of the LDS Church's Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for nearly 34 years, and was the quorum president from 2015 to 2018. As church president, Nelson is recognized by the church as a prophet, seer, and revelator.

In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, an area is an administrative unit that typically is composed of multiple stakes and missions. These areas are the primary church administrative unit between individual stakes or missions and the church as a whole.

L. Whitney Clayton American religious leader

Lyndon Whitney Clayton III has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 2001. He became a member of the church's Presidency of the Seventy in 2008 and was its senior president from 2015 until 2020.

Gary E. Stevenson

Gary Evan Stevenson is an American religious leader and former businessman who is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served previously as the church's Presiding Bishop and was the fourteenth man to serve in that position. He has been a general authority of the church since 2008. Stevenson was appointed to the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in October 2015. Currently, he is the twelfth most senior apostle in the church.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mexico

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has had a presence in Mexico since 1874. As of 2020, the country of Mexico has the largest body of LDS Church members outside the United States, with the church reporting 1,481,530 members in Mexico at the end of the year. In the 2010 Mexican census, 314,932 individuals reported belonging to the LDS Church.

Joseph Wafula Sitati has been a general authority of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 2009, when he became a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. He is the church's first black African general authority and the second general authority of black African descent.

Dale G. Renlund American religious leader and physician

Dale Gunnar Renlund is an American religious leader and former cardiologist who serves in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been a general authority of the church since 2009. Currently, he is the thirteenth most senior apostle in the church.

Gerrit W. Gong Leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, first leader of Asian descent

Gerrit Walter Gong is a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been a general authority since 2010 and served as a member of the church's Presidency of the Seventy from October 2015 until his calling to the Quorum of the Twelve in March 2018. He is the LDS Church's first apostle of Asian descent. Prior to becoming a general authority, he served as Assistant to the President of Brigham Young University (BYU) for Planning and Assessment. As a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Gong is accepted by the church as a prophet, seer, and revelator. Currently, he is the fourteenth most senior apostle in the church.

David Merrill McConkie is an American lawyer and was a member of the general presidency of the Sunday School of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2009 to 2014.

Tad Richards Callister was the 21st Sunday School General President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2014 to 2019. He served previously in the church as a general authority from 2008 to 2014, including as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy from 2011 to 2014.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile refers to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members in Chile. The first small branch was established in 1956. Since then, the LDS Church in Chile has grown to more than 600,000 members in 568 congregations. Chile ranks as having the 3rd most members of the LDS Church in South America and the 6th worldwide. The LDS Church in Chile has more members per capita than the United States and is the second largest denomination in Chile behind the Roman Catholic Church. Chile has more LDS Church members per capita than any country outside of the Pacific Islands.

The Rio de Janeiro Brazil is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is the eighth dedicated temple in Brazil.

General Conference (LDS Church) Biannual conference in Salt Lake City

General Conference is a gathering of members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, held biannually every April and October at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. During each conference, church members gather in a series of two-hour sessions to listen to the faith's leaders. It consists of five general sessions. From April 2018 to April 2021, the priesthood session was held during the April conference, with a General Women's Session held during October's conference. The Saturday evening session was changed to a general session in October 2021. The conference also generally includes training sessions for general and area leaders. Although each general conference originates from Salt Lake City, the conference is considered an international event for the church. The sessions are broadcast worldwide in over 90 languages, primarily through local and international media outlets, and over the Internet.

Bentonville Arkansas Temple Temple of the LDS church

The Bentonville Arkansas Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints under construction in Bentonville, Arkansas. The Bentonville Arkansas Temple will be the LDS Church's first temple in the state of Arkansas.
