This is a list of governors for Stockholm County of Sweden. Stockholm County separated from Uppland County, the first time from 1641 to 1654, and then finally in 1719. The City of Stockholm was separately governed by the Governor of Stockholm until 1967, when it was integrated into Stockholm County. The governors reside in Tessin Palace.

The Governor of Stockholm was the head of the Office of the Governor of Stockholm, and as such he was the highest Swedish State official overseeing the affairs in the City of Stockholm between 1634 and 1967. The Governor was the equivalent in Stockholm of a county governor elsewhere in Sweden.

Gustaf von Psilander was an admiral of the Royal Swedish Navy. In 1704, Psilander fought his most famous action in the Battle of Orford Ness against a superior English force where he was defeated, the battle coming about as a result of his refusal to salute them under strict orders from his king.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Katthamra</span>

Katthamra is a manor house located at Katthammarsvik in Östergarn on the island Gotland, Sweden. Apart from the main building, several annexes and a garden belong to the estate. The main building has undergone several renovations but is a fine example of 1800s upper-class accommodation, with magnificent murals. The estate has recently undergone a major renovation. Six buildings have new roofs and three have been prepared for rental.

The Commandant General in Stockholm is a military position in Sweden with responsibility for state ceremonial activities. Lieutenant General Michael Claesson, Chief of Joint Operations is the Commandant General in Stockholm since 2020.

Master-General of the Ordnance was in Sweden a chief officer of the Krigskollegium from 1682 to 1865, then until 1968 in the Royal Swedish Army Materiel Administration.

Gustaf Jacob af Dalström was a Swedish military officer and civil servant. He faught during the Finnish War and the War of the Sixth Coalition later in 1849 he bcame the governor of Gotland.

The Chief of the General Staff was from 1873 to 1937 the second most senior member of the Swedish Army and headed the General Staff. The position was held by a senior member of the Swedish Army. In 1937, the position was abolished and the position of Chief of the Defence Staff was established.

The Swedish Bible Society is a Swedish Christian non-profit organization founded on 22 February 1815 to spread the Bible to the Swedish people. It was inspired by the British and Foreign Bible Society, which had been founded in 1804. Today, its work is focused on promoting and facilitating Bible reading and use. Bible societies were gradually established in all dioceses in Sweden, but over time the activities have taken different forms. Internationally, the Bible Society has been part of the United Bible Societies (UBS) since 1946.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Minister for Civil Service Affairs</span>

The Minister for Civil Service Affairs, since 2010 called Minister for Public Administration, is a member of the Government of Sweden. The minister for civil service affairs was the head of the Ministry for Civil Service Affairs from 1840 to 1996. It was reintroduced as a minister without portfolio post in 2010. Its tasks includes government procurement and an overall responsibility for municipalities and regions.
