Pearl-Continental Hotels is a subsidiary of Hashoo Group who also operate Marriott Hotels in Islamabad and Karachi through a franchise system. Hashoo group has recently launched a new chain of four-star hotels by the name of PC LEGACY. PC LEGACY Naran is functional and operating in Naran and another is being constructed in Nasirabad, Hunza.

Khaplu and, also spelt Khapalu, is a city that serves as the administrative capital of the Ghanche District of Gilgit-Baltistan, in northern Pakistan. Lying 103 km (64 mi) east of the city of Skardu, it was the second-largest kingdom in old Baltistan of the Yabgo dynasty. It guarded the trade route to Ladakh along the Shyok River east of its confluence with the Indus.

The Pearl Continental Bhurban, usually shortened to PC Bhurban, is a member of Pearl Continental Hotel chain in Pakistan. It is located in the town of Bhurban in Murree, which is famous for its scenic beauty. This place is a popular summer resort for the residents of Islamabad and nearby cities. In August 2008 the Punjab government levied a toll on vehicles entering the hotel, this has angered tourists who have harangued the toll collectors. Local politicians have opposed the imposition of the toll including the Nazims of Rawat, Numbal and Phagwari.

Sadruddin Hashwani is a Pakistani entrepreneur. He is the founder and chairman of Hashoo Group, a conglomerate best known for Pearl-Continental Hotels & Resorts.

The Pearl Continental hotel bombing occurred on 9 June 2009 in Peshawar, Pakistan, in which 17 people were killed and at least 46 people injured. The blast occurred at the five-star Pearl Continental hotel in the city. The force of the explosion caused the hotel to partially collapse. Gunman also attacked the hotel, firing several shots at survivors. The United States had planned to purchase this hotel to convert it to a consulate.

The November 2009 Rawalpindi bombing was a suicide attack carried out in front of the Mall Road branch of National Bank of Pakistan in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The blast area was considered to be a very safe and high security place. Tehrik-i-Taliban was blamed for this deadly blast, which occurred when Pakistan government announced £3m in rewards for the capture of the Taliban leadership.

Peshawar Golf Club also called PAF Golf Course is a golf course located in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located on Grand Trunk (GT) Road, adjacent to Pearl Continental Hotel and Radio Pakistan, Peshawar.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Chaqchan Mosque</span>

The Chaqchan Mosque is a mosque in the city of Khaplu, in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. Dating from 1370, the mosque is one of the oldest in the region, and dates from the time when the area's populace converted en masse from Buddhism to Islam. The mosque shares similar architecture as those built in the Kashmir Valley. It is a perfect blend of Tibetan, Mughal and Persian style of architecture.

Khaplu Palace, locally known as Yabgo Khar, is an old fort and palace located in Khaplu, a city in Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan. The palace, considered an architectural heritage site and a significant tourist attraction, was built in the mid-19th century to replace an earlier-dated fort located nearby. It served as a royal residence for the Raja of Khaplu.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Khanqah-e-Mualla Noorbakshia Khaplu Bala</span>

Khanqah-e-Mualla Noorbakshia Khaplu Bala is the largest Khanqah built by mud and wood in the region of Gilgit Baltistan. It is located in Khaplu and was built by Mir Mukhtar Akhyar, a Sufi master of Nurbakshi Order around 400 years ago. It is one of the oldest mosques in the Baltistan region, and is one of the areas most famous landmarks and a major tourist attraction.

On 11 May 2019, at least eight people including four hotel employees, one soldier and three terrorists were killed in a terror attack targeting the Pearl Continental in Gwadar, Balochistan, Pakistan.
