Educational Facilities

There are 7 pools at educational facilities. The USF Koret Center has the only Olympic-size swimming pool in SF. [8] A 2nd pool at SFSU is being built in the new wellness center. [9] The Academy of Art University is buying the Concordia-Argonaut Club building and plans to renovate the pool and facilities. [10]

The Adelaide Aquatic Centre is a complex of indoor heated swimming pools operated by the Adelaide City Council and located in the northernmost extent of the Adelaide Parklands in North Adelaide, Australia. It is located in the square of parkland bordered by Jeffcott Street, Barton Terrace West, Prospect Road and Fitzroy Terrace. There is a car park to the west whose entrance is off Jeffcott Street, but the entrance to the centre itself faces north, towards Fitzroy Terrace. The centre opened on 20 December 1969.

Launceston Leisure and Aquatic Centre is a double storey structure built at the old Windmill Hill Swimming Pool site in Launceston, Tasmania. The centre was opened on 25 May 2009, at a cost of A$26.3 million. The Launceston City Council estimates that 400,000 people would visit each year after the establishment period.

The Harold Holt Memorial Swimming Centre is a public swimming pool complex located on the corner of High Street and Edgar Street, Glen Iris, Melbourne, Australia. Built in the 1960s by Australian architects Kevin Borland and Daryl Jackson, the Swimming Centre is considered to be a fine example of Brutalist architecture. Originally built in 1927 as a municipal swimming baths, the facilities were renovated in 1967 by Borland and Jackson to accommodate for higher swimming participation numbers. It is named in honour of Prime Minister Harold Holt, the local member of parliament until his apparent drowning death while the facility was under construction.

The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is a sports complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Co-owned by the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto Scarborough, it is operated by TPASC Inc., with programming offered by both the university and Toronto Parks, Forestry & Recreation. It is located on the northern grounds of the university's campus near the intersection of Highway 401 and Morningside Avenue.

The Oakleigh Recreation Centre is an aquatic and leisure facility in Oakleigh, Victoria, Australia. The centre has a stadium with four multipurpose courts, a health club, a crossfit box, massage services, a cafe and a state-of-the-art outdoor pool. The pool area contains five pools, an outdoor 50m lap pool, a dive pool with seven diving boards, a multi-purpose pool and a toddler pool and splash pad, which is an aquatic playground.

Current facilities include 4,113 acres (1,664 ha) of total recreational and open space with 3,400 acres (1,376 ha) of that land within San Francisco. The department runs 179 playgrounds and play areas, 82 recreation centers and clubhouses, nine swimming pools, five golf courses, 151 tennis courts, 72 basketball courts, 59 soccer fields, numerous baseball diamonds, and other sports venues.

Officially, the Technical Center-Academy of the Football Federation of Armenia, commonly known as the Yerevan Football Academy or Avan Football Academy, is a modern football training school located in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
