The Western Cape Provincial Parliament (WCPP) is the legislature of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is located at 7 Wale Street in Cape Town.
Beverley Ann Schäfer is a South African politician who served as the Deputy Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from May 2019 until May 2024. She served as the Western Cape Provincial Minister of Economic Opportunities from November 2018 to May 2019. Between June 2014 and October 2018, she served as the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Economic Opportunities, Tourism and Agriculture in the provincial parliament. She was the Cape Town City Councillor for Ward 54 from 2011 to 2014. She is a member of the Democratic Alliance (DA).
Bernard Daniel Joseph is a South African politician. A member of the Economic Freedom Fighters, he served as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from 2015 to 2019. He was the first chairperson of the party in the Western Cape. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Member of the National Assembly. Before he held elected office, he was an employee at the Western Cape Community Safety Department.
Daylin Gary Mitchell is a South African politician who has been the Speaker of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since December 2022. A member of the governing Democratic Alliance, he has been a Member of the Provincial Parliament since September 2015. He had previously served as the Provincial Minister of Transport and Public Works from May 2021 until April 2022 and then as Provincial Minister of Mobility until his election as speaker.
Patronella Zingisa "Pat" Lekker is a South Africa politician. A member of the African National Congress, she is currently serving as the Chief Whip of the Official Opposition in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
Lulama Lennox Mvimbi is a South African politician, party member of the African National Congress and a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from 22 May 2019 until 28 May 2024. He was the Mayor of the Bitou Local Municipality for two nonconsecutive terms, from 1995 to 1998 and again from 2006 to 2011, respectively. He also served as the mayor of the Eden District Municipality from 2003 to 2006. Mvimbi is the first African National Congress politician to hold the post of Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament.
Ferlon Charles Christians is a South African politician. A member of the African Christian Democratic Party, he is the provincial leader of the party in the Western Cape and a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament. He took office as an MPP in 2014. Christians previously served as SCOPA chairperson in the provincial parliament.
Muhammad Khalid Sayed is a South African politician and youth activist who serves as the Leader of the Opposition in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament as a member of the African National Congress. He took office as an MPP in May 2019 and served as the ANC's deputy chief whip and shadow MEC for Education. He is also the chair of the provincial branch of the ANC Youth League. Elected in 2015, he has since been re-elected in 2018.
Ockert Stefanus "Okkie" Terblanche is a South African retired politician and retired police general who served as the Shadow Deputy Minister of Police and as a Member of the National Assembly from 2019 until retiring from politics in 2024. He represented the Western Cape in the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) from October 2015 to May 2019. Terblanche is a member of the Democratic Alliance (DA).
Ntombezanele Gladys Bakubaku-Vos is a South African politician who served as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from May 2019 until May 2024. Prior to serving in the provincial parliament, she was a municipal councillor of the Stellenbosch Local Municipality. Bakubaku-Vos is a member of the African National Congress (ANC).
Wendy Felecia Philander is a South African politician serving as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since August 2018. She is the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Health. She was previously a Member of the Mayoral Committee of the Drakenstein Local Municipality. Philander is a member of the Democratic Alliance.
Ricardo Denver Mackenzie is a South African politician who has served as the Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport of the Western Cape since June 2024. He had previously served as the Provincial Minister of Mobility from February 2023 until June 2024. A member of the Democratic Alliance, he has been a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since May 2014.
Ayanda Precious Bans is a South African politician serving as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament since May 2019. She is a member of the African National Congress and represents the Central Karoo constituency.

Botha served as the chief whip of the DA caucus from May 2022 until her death in August 2022. She was the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Education from 2019 until 2022.
Cayla Ann Tomás Murray is a South African politician and former civil servant who served as the chairperson of the Standing Committee on Finance, Economic Opportunities and Tourism in the Western Cape Provincial Parliament and as a Democratic Alliance Member of the Provincial Parliament from August 2022 until May 2024.
Aishah Cassiem is a South African politician and former investigative journalist who has been a member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament representing the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) since 3 February 2023. Cassiem is also the Provincial Treasurer of the EFF in the Western Cape.
Moses Thembile Klaas is a South African politician who served as a Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament from 2023 until 2024, representing the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF). Klaas is the deputy provincial chairperson of the EFF in the Western Cape.
