The National Assembly of Quebec is the legislative body of the province of Quebec in Canada. Legislators are called MNAs. The King in Right of Quebec, represented by the lieutenant governor of Quebec and the National Assembly compose the Legislature of Quebec, which operates in a fashion similar to those of other Westminster-style parliamentary systems. The assembly has 125 members elected first past the post from single-member districts.
Georges Aleka Damas was a Gabonese politician who served as President of the National Assembly of Gabon from April 1964 to April 1975. He also composed Gabon's national anthem, "La Concorde".

Holding a succession of ministerial portfolios, Onouviet served in the government of Gabon as Minister of Water and the Environment from 1999 to 2002, Minister of Mines, Energy, and Oil from 2002 to 2007, Minister of Planning from 2007 to 2009, and as Minister of Decentralization and Urban Policy in 2009. A member of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG), he has been a Deputy in the National Assembly since 2009.

Issaka Sidibé is a Malian politician. Since 11 June 2020 he has been President of the High Court of Justice. He was President of the National Assembly of Mali between 22 January 2014 and 11 May 2020. Sidibé previously served in the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007, and he was reelected in 2013. He had a career as a customs official before his turn to politics.
The 15th legislature of the French Fifth Republic was the French Parliament that was in office from 27 June 2017 until 21 June 2022. The party of President Emmanuel Macron, La République En Marche! (LREM), obtained an absolute majority of 308 deputies, alongside its ally, the Democratic Movement (MoDem), which secured 42 seats. The newly-installed deputies elected François de Rugy as President of the National Assembly when the National Assembly first convened on 27 June. The legislative election saw a record level of renewal, with only a quarter of the deputies elected in 2012 also elected in 2017, as well as a significant increase in the representation of women and youth. With seven planned parliamentary groups, it would be the most fragmented National Assembly since 1958.

Emilia Monjowa Lifaka was a Cameroonian politician and chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. She was a member of the National Assembly of Cameroon, first elected in 2002, and was vice-president of the Assembly at the time of her death.
Amadou Soumahoro was an Ivorian politician. He served in the National Assembly constituency of Séguéla and was President of the National Assembly from 7 March 2019 until his death on 7 May 2022. He also served as President of the Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie from 9 July 2019 until his death.
