This is a list of publications on the occasion of the Boekenweek, an annual event held in the Netherlands dedicated to Dutch literature. The Boekenweekgeschenk is usually a novel or a collection of short stories; the Kinderboekenweekgeschenk is a children's book. For children too young to read, a picture book, the Prentenboek van de Kinderboekenweek, is published. [1]

Hossein Sadjadi Ghaemmaghami Farahani, better known by his pen name Kader Abdolah, is an Iranian-Dutch writer, poet and columnist. His books, written in Dutch, often contain Persian literary themes. He regularly appears on Dutch television as well.
The Gouden Griffel is an award given to authors of children's or teenagers' literature in the Netherlands.
The Diamond Film is a film award recognising domestic box office achievements in the Netherlands. The Diamond Film is awarded to films from the Netherlands once they have sold 1,000,000 cinema tickets or more during the original circulation. The award is initiated by the Netherlands Film Festival and the Netherlands Film Fund in addition to the Golden Film for 100,000 visitors, the Platinum Film for 400,000 visitors, and the Crystal Film for 10,000 visitors of a documentary film.
In the Netherlands, the Boekenweek is an annual "week" of ten days dedicated to Dutch literature. It has been held in March annually since 1932. Each Boekenweek has a theme. The beginning of the Boekenweek is marked by the Boekenbal, a gathering that is attended by writers and publishers. Events are held across the country during the Boekenweek, such as book signing sessions, literary festivals and debates.
The Evenings: A Winter's Tale is a debut novel by Dutch author Gerard Reve released in November 1947 under the pseudonym "Simon van het Reve".
The Collectieve Propaganda van het Nederlandse Boek is a Dutch organization that includes representatives of bookstores and publishers, whose goal is to promote Dutch literature.
Rindert Kromhout is a Dutch author of children's books and young adult fiction. He is the author of the 2002 kinderboekenweekgeschenk, a commissioned book given away to book buyers during the annual Boekenweek.
Clous van Mechelen is a Dutch musician, arranger, and actor. Van Mechelen scored a minor hit in 1969 with his band The Butlers, and became widely known through the radio and television shows written and directed by Wim T. Schippers, in which he played the character Jan Vos and wrote songs for the various characters.
The Maand van het Spannende Boek (June) is a Dutch theme month to promote literary genres of "exciting books" and is organized by the Collectieve Propaganda van het Nederlandse Boek.
De Stratemakeropzeeshow was a Dutch children's television programme that ran from 1972 to 1974 and was aired by the VARA broadcasting organization.
An advisory referendum on the approval of the Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement was held in the Netherlands on 6 April 2016. The referendum question was: "Are you for or against the Approval Act of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine?"
Forum for Democracy is a far-right political party in the Netherlands, founded as a think tank by Thierry Baudet and Henk Otten in 2016. The party first participated in elections in the 2017 general election, winning two seats in the House of Representatives.
The Boekensleutel is a Dutch literary award infrequently awarded by the Dutch organisation Collectieve Propaganda van het Nederlandse Boek. The Boekensleutel is awarded to books that stand out due to their genre, techniques used or for reasons that aren't traditionally covered by other literary awards. Books that are translated into Dutch are also eligible for the award.

A process of cabinet formation took place following the 2021 Dutch general election, leading to the formation of the Fourth Rutte cabinet in 2022. The coalition consisted of People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), Democrats 66 (D66), Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) and Christian Union (CU), the same parties that formed the preceding Third Rutte cabinet. At 299 days, it was the longest formation in Dutch history.
