Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kileler, of which it is a municipal unit. It is located southwest of the regional capital Larissa. In 2011 its population was 109 for the village, 177 for the community and 2,289 for the municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 205.242 km2. The seat of the municipality was Agioi Anargyroi. It is located north of Farsala and NNE of Palamas and Karditsa.
