List of storms named Nika

The name Nika has been used for two tropical cyclones in the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the West Pacific Ocean. Nika replaced Nina on the naming lists after the latter's retirement following the 2016 season.

The name Nika was itself retired from the naming lists after its 2024 usage, being replaced by Nanolay for future seasons. [b]

Notes

  1. This was the first known occurrence of four West Pacific tropical cyclones existing at the same time in November.
  2. Nanolay is a local name derived from the creator and culture hero of the Gaddang people.
