Released in 2002, this collection marked the beginning of a long-term partnership with Rhino Entertainment which, between 2002 and 2005, would remaster and re-release Chicago's 1969–1980 Columbia Records catalog.
"I Wanna Be Your Lover" is a song by American recording artist Prince. It was released on August 24, 1979, as the lead single from his second album, Prince. The song was Prince's first major hit single in the United States, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 26, 1980, holding the number 11 position for two weeks, and peaking at number one on the Billboard Hot Soul Singles chart for two weeks.
"I Wanna Dance with Somebody " is a song recorded by American singer Whitney Houston for her second studio album, Whitney (1987). It was released as the lead single from the album on May 2, 1987, by Arista Records. It was produced by Narada Michael Walden, and written by George Merrill and Shannon Rubicam, of the band Boy Meets Girl, who had previously collaborated with Houston on "How Will I Know."

"All I Wanna Do" is a song performed by Sheryl Crow. The song was written by Crow, David Baerwald, Bill Bottrell, and Kevin Gilbert, with lyrics adapted from Wyn Cooper's 1987 poem "Fun". It was Crow's breakthrough hit from her 1993 debut album Tuesday Night Music Club. The song is Crow's biggest US hit, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 behind "I'll Make Love to You" by Boyz II Men for six consecutive weeks from October 8 to November 12, 1994, and it also topped the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. It was the winner of the 1995 Grammy for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and was nominated for Song of the Year.
"All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You" is a song by American rock band Heart. It was composed by veteran songwriter and producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange and released as the lead single from the band's tenth studio album, Brigade, in March 1990. The song was first recorded as "All I Want to Do Is Make Love to You" by Dobie Gray in 1979, though with different lyrics. The Heart version tells the story of a woman who sets out to seduce a hitchhiker in order to become pregnant because although there is a man in her life, he is infertile.
"I Wan'na Be Like You " is a song from Walt Disney's 1967 film The Jungle Book. The song was written by songwriters Robert and Richard Sherman, and was performed by singer and musician Louis Prima as King Louie, with Phil Harris providing additional vocals as Baloo the bear.
"I Only Want to Be with You" is a song written by Mike Hawker and Ivor Raymonde. The debut solo single released by British singer Dusty Springfield under her long-time producer Johnny Franz, "I Only Want to Be with You" peaked at number 4 on the UK Singles chart in January 1964. Three remakes of the song have been UK chart hits, the first two by the Bay City Rollers (1976) and The Tourists (1979) matching the number 4 peak of the Dusty Springfield original, while the 1989 remake by Samantha Fox peaked at number 16. In the US on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, "I Only Want to Be with You" has been a Top 40 hit three times, with both the Dusty Springfield original and the Bay City Rollers' remake peaking at number 12 while the Samantha Fox remake peaked at number 31. "I Only Want to Be with You" has also been recorded by a wide range of artists, several of whom sing the song with lyrics translated from the original English.
Gold is one of Donna Summer's greatest hits compilations. Donna Summer's entry in Universal Music's two-disc compilation series Gold is more or less a re-release of 1993's The Donna Summer Anthology, with the most noticeable differences being the cover art and that Gold includes four of her 1990s Club and R&B hits, which came out after the Anthology. Also, other 1980s European hits, such as "Dinner With Gershwin", and the 7 inch remix of "Love's About to Change My Heart", that were not included on the Anthology, are present here. However, the two tracks from 1981's shelved Geffen Records album I'm a Rainbow on disc two are left out, as are "Once Upon A Time" and "Rumour Has It", both from the 1977 album Once Upon a Time, the hit single "Cold Love" from 1980 album The Wanderer, and the album track "Friends Unknown" from Mistaken Identity. As of August 10, 2006, the album sold 30,000 in United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

The Platinum Collection is the third greatest hits/compilation album released by English boy-band Blue. The album was released in some European countries, such as France and Germany, in June 2006. The compilation was put together and released by EMI Music. The album peaked at #35 in Italian chart.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Dutch girl group Luv' released by Mercury Records/Phonogram Records. It is the CD version of their 1979 Greatest Hits album which came out ten years earlier, including a bonus track: "Luv' Hitpack". It features hit singles scored in the charts between 1977 and 1979: "My Man", "U.O.Me", "You're the Greatest Lover", "Trojan Horse", "Casanova" and "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe". These songs originate from their first and second studio albums, With Luv' (1978) and Lots of Luv' (1979). The Phonogram years were the group's most successful ones in terms of chart performance as Luv' reached the Top 10 in a dozen of countries in the late 1970s.
Just Hits is a compilation album by American singer Bette Midler, released on the Atlantic Records label in Australia and New Zealand in 1987. The album was the third greatest hits compilation with Midler to be released in Australia, following 1978's The Best of Bette and a second release with the same title on the K-tel label in 1981.
Hannah Montana 3 is the soundtrack album for the third season of the television series Hannah Montana. Thirteen of its fourteen tracks are performed by the series' primary actress Miley Cyrus, and are credited to her titular character Hannah Montana. One of its actors Mitchel Musso contributes one song, while recording artists David Archuleta and Corbin Bleu appear as featured vocalists. In the vein of earlier soundtracks from the franchise, Hannah Montana 3 is primarily a pop rock record, which sees additional influences from teen pop and country pop musical styles.
The Greatest Songs and More is a 4-CD box set by 10cc released in Japan in June 1991. The compilation includes singles, album tracks, and rare b-sides recorded between 1972 and 1983. Many of the tracks included were unavailable on CD elsewhere until re-issues of their later albums were released—also in Japan—in 2006. It is not known how many copies were produced, but over the years it has commanded high prices on the collectors market.
