Little Angels' School is a private school system based in Hattiban, Lalitpur District of Nepal, Kathmandu. It offers schooling, A-Levels and +2 facilities, and education up to the SEE.[ citation needed ]
Little Angels' School (LAS) has a primary wing near its buildings. The main Hattiban campus offers education up to high school but also includes post-secondary levels. In 2066 BS, LAS began offering the internationally recognized General Certificate of Education classes - Cambridge A-Level. It is promoted as an English medium school. The school teaches more than 4,600 students. Including A-Level students, Little Angels College, and Little Angels College of Management, total enrollment is about 6,400 students, and just above 700 teachers/lecturers are employed. Little Angels School was started in 1981, Both the founder principals were in the field of education long before LAS was born—one in administration, the other in teaching. The founders - Bidhya Limbu and Umesh Shrestha - now act as founder directors while the responsibilities of a principal are handled by Mukunda Raj Sharma. Shrestha holds an M.A. in School Management. The school uses about 130 buses to transport almost 8,000 students each school day.
The school premises includes four basketball courts, a football and a futsal ground, two lawn tennis courts, two volleyball courts, and a spacious playground in each block. The school has two swimming pools for the students.The school also has a karate and a whusu Hall, dance hall, and a music class. Furthermore, the students can select one of 12 activities as extra curriculum. [ citation needed ]

The Little Angels' College (LAC) was founded in 1997 under the Nepal Educational Foundation. Total enrollment is about 480 students. There were ten sections (4 physical groups and 6 biological groups) in the year 2016/17. In 2009, LAC introduced GCE A Level course. [4]

St. Xavier's School (Est-1951) is a private Catholic coeducational basic education institution run by the Nepal Region of the Society of Jesus in Lalitpur, Nepal. It was the first academic institution established by the Jesuits in Nepal. Kalidas Shrestha was a Nepalese painter, sculptor, arts administrator, and social activist. He the founding chairman of Kamala Memorial Community Service Center; and also founded the Nepal Fine Arts College, where he served as its first principal. Shrestha also served as an honorable member of Nepal Academy.
Nepal Bhasa movement refers to the struggle for linguistic rights by Newar speakers in Nepal in the face of opposition from the government and hostile neighbors. The campaign aims to increase the use of Nepal Bhasa in the home, education, government and business. Despite a high level of development, Newar culture and language are both under threat.
Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is one of the nine schools of Kathmandu University running medical, nursing and allied health science program. Bhanu Bhakta Memorial Higher Secondary School is a pioneer school in the Kathmandu Valley, located at Panipokhari, Kathmandu, opposite to the Japanese Embassy, Nepal. It was established in 1967 to the memory of the pioneer poet late Bhanubhakta Acharya – a figure of Nepali literature. In 2016, the school completed 50 years of its establishment, and has celebrated its golden anniversary. It is a co-educational and English medium school, catering for children with the age group of 3 (Nursery) to 18, as well as college level students. The school follows modern methods of teaching having recently installed smart classes and closed circuit television cameras.
Rebati Ramanananda Shrestha (1932–2002) was a Nepalese freedom fighter, journalist and Nepal Bhasa author. He also wrote under the pen name R. R. N. Syasya. His works range from poems and epics to essays and short stories. He has written books on history, language, culture and religion.

Sumana Shrestha, is a Nepalese politician and former Minister of Education, Science and Technology. Since 2022, she has held the position of Member of the Federal Parliament in the House of Representatives of Nepal, representing Joint Secretary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party. Additionally, she is a member of the Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives. Shrestha holds the position of Central Committee member and serves as the chairperson of the Education Department and the Science, Communication, and Information Technology Department of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
