Little Daylight was an American alternative pop group from Brooklyn, New York. [1]
Little Daylight was formed in the spring of 2012 by Nikki Taylor, Matt Lewkowicz, and Eric Zeiler. [2] All three stayed at a friend's lake house and began working on remixes of songs from various artists such as The Neighbourhood, Passion Pit, Freelance Whales, and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. [1] The group took its name from the 1871 fairy tale Little Daylight written by George MacDonald and began their career by performing the remixes and their own material they penned while at the lake house. [3]
Little Daylight's live performance debut came at SXSW in 2013. In order to not feel pressure of performing in front of a large crowd for the first time, the band made up a fake name and bio for the band. [3] They signed with Capitol Records a short time later. Little Daylight released their first EP in 2013. Titled Tunnel Vision, the EP contained the single "Overdose" which went to #1 on The Hype Machine. [4] The video for the song was filmed in the streets of Manhattan, after the borough was left without power after Hurricane Sandy. [3] After the EP release, the band toured with acts such as Charli XCX and Bastille while at the same time working on new material for a studio album. They made their first national television appearance in May 2014 on Late Night with Seth Meyers. [5]
Hello Memory was the first album from Little Daylight. [6] It was self-produced entirely by the band members, all three of whom shared producing and songwriting duties. Part of the album was recorded in a carriage house in Brooklyn, New York that the band outfitted with equipment the band had used over the years, finishing the recording in a studio located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Their debut album "Hello Memory" was released on 15 July 2014. It debuted at number 20 on the American Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart. [7]
In 2016, two of Little Daylight's band members formed the Brooklyn duo Me Not You. [8] Little Daylight's Facebook account now redirects to the new band. [9]

Birdy Nam Nam are a DJ crew from France. Birdy Nam Nam has won several prizes throughout their career including the DMC Technics 2002 World TEAM Championships. Birdy Nam Nam's goal is to use the turntable player as an actual musical instrument. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2006 on Uncivilized World Records, and in March that year, they performed at the internationally renowned music conference SXSW. The group's name is taken from a line in the 1968 Peter Sellers film The Party, directed by Blake Edwards.

Hellogoodbye is an American pop rock band that was formed in Huntington Beach, California in 2001 by singer Forrest Kline. They were signed to Drive-Thru Records and released their first full-length album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! in 2006, having previously released the EP Hellogoodbye in 2004, and DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL in 2005. In 2010, the band released Would It Kill You? on their label Wasted Summer Records. The album was released in the United Kingdom and Europe by LAB Records on March 14, 2011. Hellogoodbye released their third album, Everything Is Debatable, on October 29, 2013, while touring as the opening act for Paramore's The Self-Titled Tour. Their fourth album, S'Only Natural, was released on October 5, 2018.

The discography of Scottish rock band The Twilight Sad consists of five studio albums, four compilation albums, fifteen singles, and five extended plays (EPs). The band currently consists of James Graham, Andy MacFarlane, Johnny Docherty (bass), Brendan Smith (keyboards) and Sebastien Schultz (drums). The Kilsyth-based band formed in 2003 and were signed to Fat Cat Records when Alex Knight, co-founder of the label, went to Glasgow to watch the band perform their third gig and signed them on the spot. The band released their debut EP The Twilight Sad in November 2006 in the United States only, followed by their debut album Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters in April 2007, which garnered widespread critical acclaim. The album spawned two singles, "That Summer, at Home I Had Become the Invisible Boy" in April, and "And She Would Darken the Memory" in July. The following year, the band released Here, It Never Snowed. Afterwards It Did, a mini-album of reworked versions of songs from Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters and two non-album tracks, inspired by stripped-down live performances. A collection of live versions and previously unreleased tracks entitled Killed My Parents and Hit the Road was released in December 2008. The Twilight Sad's second studio album, Forget the Night Ahead, was released in September 2009 to further acclaim and marked a shift in the band's direction towards a darker and more streamlined sound. The album produced three singles: "I Became a Prostitute" in August 2009, "Seven Years of Letters" in October 2009, and "The Room" in April 2010. Founding bassist Craig Orzel left the band in February 2010, and the band released The Wrong Car EP in September of that year.

A 2-color vinyl version of the EP was later released for Record Store Day on April 20, 2013. The EP was named after the opening track of the same name. Great Good Fine Ok is an American synthpop duo based in New York City, United States. The band was founded by Jon Sandler and Luke Moellman in 2013. Although both grew up in Upstate New York, they only met when living around the corner from each other in Brooklyn, NY. In 2013 the duo released the song "You're The One For Me". Its overwhelming online popularity resulted in the song reaching #1 on Hype Machine twice in one month. Soon after their first seven shows at SXSW in the spring of 2013, the band signed with Neon Gold Records/Epic Records and Transgressive Records/Warner/Chappell Music publishing.
