Little Harbour is a small unattended recreation area situated on Gander Lake, near Gander, Newfoundland. Access to this area is via a 1.5 kilometre gravel road from Route 1 (the Trans-Canada Highway).
Little Harbour is a recreational park used by residents of Gander for boating and picnicking. A slipway for launching small pleasure craft is available for use by the public.
East of the cove that makes up Little Harbour is an area where ultramafic rocks created during faulting during the Ordovician time which has been exposed by erosion over time.
Little Harbour was the scene of a tragic incident in 2002 when twin sisters, daughters of Nelson Hart, Karen and Krista Hart were drowned.

Husvik is a former whaling station on the north-central coast of South Georgia Island. It was one of three such stations in Stromness Bay, the other two being Stromness and Leith Harbour. Husvik initially began as a floating, offshore factory site in 1907. In 1910, a land station was constructed and remained operational until 1930; business resumed again between 1945 and 1960. Husvik Harbour was also the site of the third introduction of reindeer to South Georgia in 1925.
Nelson Hart is a Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada resident who was convicted on 28 March 2007 of murdering his three-year-old twin daughters in 2002. He successfully appealed the conviction in 2007 and ultimately, in 2014 his confession to police was found to be inadmissible as evidence causing the Crown to dismiss the murder charges for lack of evidence.
