Little Hurricane is an American dirty blues band based in San Diego, California. Formed in 2010, the band consists of front man Anthony "Tone" Catalano and drummer Celeste "C.C." Spina.
In 2010, Chicago-born Spina (a cook and bartender) resumed playing drums after eight years away from a set and put an advertisement on Craigslist looking for like-minded musicians. Guitarist Anthony “Tone” Catalano (former studio engineer) caught her attention when he mentioned his jazz-band days in high school. “I’ve been writing songs for years, looking for drummers,” says Tone (who relocated from Santa Cruz to San Diego). “I think it’s unique to have a girl drummer.” says Tone, who makes custom guitar slides from wine- and whiskey-bottle necks. The band has toured in direct support for multiple North American tours for the English ska band The Specials, as well as supported Manchester Orchestra, White Denim, The John Butler Trio, and the Heartless Bastards.
In 2016, the band licensed their fourth studio album, Same Sun Same Moon, to Mascot Records. [2] It was released on April 14, 2017, and became their second album to appear on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart. [3]
One of their songs “Get By” was featured on the television show Revenge season one episode five which aired on ABC. The song is playing in the background during a bar scene.[ citation needed ]
As "Tone“ mentioned in a video livestream, the song "Crocodile Tears“ was originally written for the soundtrack for the movie "Two Hundred Thousand Dirty." [4]
Their song, “Bad Business” is also featured on the soundtrack for the video game "MLB The Show 16".
Their song "Sweet Pea" was featured on ABC's "Mistresses". Their song "Haunted Heart" was featured on "Gossip Girl", and their music was featured on ESPN's "Firstwatch". The band was named as an "Artist to Watch" by Sports Illustrated in 2012 and their song "Give em Hell" was featured in a video for the magazine's Swimsuit Edition. [ citation needed ]
Their music has also been licensed to the movies "The Motel Life", "Two Hundred Thousand Dirty" and Brooklyn Brothers Beat The Best.[ citation needed ]

To date, the band has been featured in five Taco Bell TV advertisements. The songs "Haunted Heart", "Hold Me Back", "Trouble Ahead", "Isn't It Great" and a cover of Starland Vocal Band's "Afternoon Delight" were featured in a series of Taco Bell commercials. [6]
The band has received several awards from the San Diego Music Awards, including Album of the Year ("Same Sun Same Moon", 2016), Song of the Year ("Heart Skips a Beat", 2015) Artist of the Year (2014) Album of the Year ("Gold Fever", 2014) Best Live Act (2013) Album of the Year ("Homewrecker", 2012) and Best New Artist (2010). Little Hurricane has performed in major festivals, including Austin City Limits Music Festival, Bottlerock Napa 2017, Telluride Blues and Brews, Parkenfestivalen, Summerfest, Lollapalooza [8] [9] and South by Southwest. [10] Their performances have been featured in leading publications such as Rolling Stone. [11]
As of 2015, they have headlined tours and festivals in at least 11 countries including Australia, Norway, Sweden, France, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and England.[ citation needed ]

James Joseph Chamberlin is an American drummer and record producer. He is best known as the drummer for the alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. Following the 2000 breakup of the band, Chamberlin joined Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan in the supergroup Zwan and also formed his own group, the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. In 2005, Chamberlin joined Corgan in reforming The Smashing Pumpkins; he eventually left the group in March 2009, though he returned again in 2015 for a summer tour. He performed in the group Skysaw until 2012. He is currently active under the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex name. In addition to his current work as CEO, Chamberlin has joined Chicago jazz saxophonist Frank Catalano for a string of 2013–15 performances in the Chicago area. An EP by Catalano and Chamberlin Love Supreme Collective - EP was released on July 29, 2014.
Perry Farrell is an American singer, songwriter and musician, best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction. Farrell created the touring festival Lollapalooza as a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction in 1991; it has since evolved into an annual destination festival. Farrell continues to produce Lollapalooza with partners William Morris Agency and C3 Presents. Farrell has also led the alternative rock groups Porno for Pyros and Satellite Party.

The Bravery is an American rock band formed in New York City in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, keyboardist John Conway, bassist Mike Hindert and drummer Anthony Burulcich. They are best known for their 2005 top 10 UK single "An Honest Mistake" and their certified gold 2008 single "Believe". Before their initial split, they released three studio albums: The Bravery (2005), The Sun and the Moon (2007) and Stir the Blood (2009). They also released a remixed edition of their second album, called The Sun and the Moon Complete, in 2008, as well as an Internet live album called Live at the Wiltern Theater in 2010. The group's music is mostly post-punk, dance-influenced rock.

They have been associated with music groups such as Sublime with Rome, 311, and Pepper and have toured with groups such as Cobra Starship, Aer, and Gym Class Heroes.
Slightly Stoopid is an American band based in the Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego, California, who describe their music as "a fusion of folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk." As a band, they have released thirteen albums, with their ninth studio album entitled Everyday Life, Everyday People on July 13, 2018. The band was originally signed by Bradley Nowell from the band Sublime to his label Skunk Records while still in high school.
General Fiasco are an indie rock group from Bellaghy, Northern Ireland. Young the Giant is an American rock band that formed in Irvine, California, in 2004. The band's line-up consists of Sameer Gadhia, Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh, and Francois Comtois (drums). Formerly known as The Jakes, Young the Giant was signed by Roadrunner Records in 2009, and they released their eponymous debut album in 2010. Inch was an American post-hardcore band formed in San Diego, California, in 1992. The group was founded by former Sub Society vocalist Michael "Stimy" Steinman, guitarist Mike Paprocki, drummer Dave Hepler, and bassist Jeff Reese. Inch released three albums during the 1990s until their disbandment in 1999. After being involved with numerous other bands, frontman Steinman had passed away in 2010.
