Guano Apes are a German rock band formed in 1994 in Göttingen, Germany. They consist of Sandra Nasić (vocals), Henning Rümenapp, Stefan Ude and Dennis Poschwatta.
"Shut Your Mouth" is a 2001 alternative rock song by Garbage, written and recorded for their third studio album Beautiful Garbage. "Shut Your Mouth" was the album opener; it was also released as its fourth and final single.
Hate Dept. is an American synthesizer-laden post punk band, formed in 1991 by Steven Seibold. The group releases albums and performs music in the same vein as Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy and The Prodigy. Seibold is a multi-instrumentalist who manages to write, record and release Hate Dept. albums without the aid of outside help. He formed Hate Dept. in 1991 in reaction to fickle 'electro' audiences and antipathy towards live electronic bands, taking his sound in a more punk direction.
Pain is a musical project from Sweden that mixes heavy metal with influences from electronic music and techno. The project started out as a hobby project for front man Peter Tägtgren, whose idea was to fuse heavy metal with 1980s-inspired electro-industrial and techno influences. Tägtgren, who is also the vocalist/guitarist of Hypocrisy and producer of his own The Abyss studios, is the only current member.
Rebirth is the second album by the Swedish industrial metal project Pain. It was released in 1999 via the Swedish label Stockholm Records. It was on this album, that the band's electronic sound first appeared. It includes the band's first two singles to make the Swedish single charts: "End of the Line", which peaked at No. 15, and "On and On", which peaked at No. 30. Powered by the popularity of "End of the Line", the album hit No. 21 on the Swedish album charts.

The album itself reached No. 6 and remained on the Swedish album charts for nine weeks, longer than any other Pain album.
Björn Tom Fredrik Nordström is a Swedish musician and record producer. He is best known as the guitarist of heavy metal band Dream Evil. Nordström is one of the leading melodic death metal and power metal producers in Sweden, and has worked with some of said genres' top acts, including At the Gates, Arch Enemy, Nightrage, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Soilwork, Opeth, and Powerwolf.

The song was released as the third single from the band's debut album The Poison, through Sony BMG on 3 February 2006 in Europe and released in United Kingdom through Visible Noise on 7 February 2006. The band originally recorded the song on their 2003 Jeff Killed John EP. It is their highest charting single in the UK, peaking at number 29. It is arguably the softest song on The Poison due to its use of an acoustic guitar and minimal screaming.

Suicide Silence is an American deathcore band from Riverside, California. The band was established in 2002, and has released five full-length studio albums, one EP, and eleven music videos. Historikill: 1995–2007 is a compact disc box set by the American thrash metal band Overkill, which was released on October 16, 2015. The originally planned release date was September 18, 2015. The box set spans the years from 1995 to 2007, including seven of the original seventeen Overkill albums from The Killing Kind (1996) to Immortalis (2007), two of their live albums, one of their compilation albums, the covers album Coverkill and a bonus disc featuring demos, remixes and one cover song. The albums are placed in chronological order, although Wrecking Everything was released three months before the Hello from the Gutter compilation album.
