Elizabeth Dorrepaal Hills (born May 16, 1954), now known under her married name as Liz O'Leary, is an American rower. She competed in the women's quadruple sculls event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. [1] The rower Elizabeth McCagg (married name Hills) is her sister-in-law. [2]

Wolfgang Gunkel was an East German rower who mostly competed in coxed pairs together with Jörg Lucke. In this event he won the European title in 1971, the Olympic gold medal in 1972, and the world title in 1975. His crew placed fourth at the 1968 Olympics. Gunkel won another world title in the men's eight in 1977. In February 1978, he was given the sports awards Honoured Master of Sports.

Jessica Monroe, also known under her married name Gonin, is a Canadian rower. She was born in Palo Alto, California. Monroe won two gold medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, in the coxless four and in the eight, and a silver medal in 1996 in Atlanta.

Elizabeth "Betsy" McCagg, known under her married name as Betsy Hills, is an American rower. She finished 4th in the women's eight at the 1996 Summer Olympics. She rowed with her twin sister Mary. She graduated from Harvard University. The rower Liz Hills is her sister-in-law.

Brenda Catherine Lawson is a New Zealand rower. She was twice world champion in women's double sculls with Philippa Baker, and they were both inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.

Kerri Leigh Williams is a New Zealand rower. She is a national champion, an Olympic champion and double medallist, a three-time world champion and a current (2019) world champion in both the coxless pair and the women's eight. Williams was born in Raetihi in 1993. She is of Māori descent, affiliating with Rangitāne iwi. She received her education at Nga Tawa Diocesan School in Marton. The school first started to offer a rowing programme in 2008 and a year later, Williams took this up. At the time, she was also competing as an equestrian but soon started focussing on rowing so much that she had to choose one of the sports. Her trainer told her three weeks after she had started rowing that she would one day represent New Zealand. Jackie Gowler, her younger sister by three years, took up rowing in 2010 inspired by her success; they have both made it into the New Zealand national rowing team. Their elder sister, Jaimee Gowler, remains active with horse riding. After school, Williams became a member of the Aramoho Wanganui Rowing Club.

Ionela Livia Cozmiuc is a Romanian rower. She is a two-times world champion in the women's lightweight double sculls for Romania winning back to back world titles in 2017 and 2018, and taking another title in the lightweight single sculls in 2022. She competed in the women's lightweight double sculls event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Linda D Clark is a British rower who competed at the 1976 Olympics and 1980 Olympics.

Kareen Elizabeth Marwick married name Kareen Larkin is a former British rower who competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics.

Antje Rehaag is a German former rower. She won gold with the women's eight at the 1994 World Rowing Championships in Indianapolis, USA, and competed in the women's eight event at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Georgia Nugent-O'Leary is a New Zealand rower. She is nominated to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in the quad sculls.
