Locust Log Ridge refers to two different mountain ridges located within the State of Georgia.

Horsetrough Mountain mountain in United States of America

Horsetrough Mountain, with a summit elevation of 4,045 feet (1,233 m), is located in Union and White counties in northeastern Georgia, USA. It is also within the boundaries of the Chattahoochee National Forest and is part of the Mark Trail Wilderness. The Eastern Continental Divide follows the main ridge line that makes up the mountain, crossing the peak. Water to the south and east of the mountain flows to the Atlantic Ocean, while water to the north and west of the mountain flows to the Gulf of Mexico. Streams from Horsetrough Mountain form some of the headwaters of the Chattahoochee River, and the West Fork Little River. The Appalachian Trail follows the main ridge line of the mountain but does not cross the summit. Horsetrough Falls is located on the southern side of the mountain.

Rich Mountain (Georgia) mountain in the US State of Georgia

Rich Mountain, elevation 4,040 feet (1,230 m), is the highest point in the Rich Mountain Wilderness of the Chattahoochee National Forest in Gilmer County, Georgia. It is the second-highest peak in Gilmer County; only Big Bald Mountain is taller, with its summit at 4,081 feet (1,244 m).

State Route 180 (SR 180) is a 26.0-mile-long (41.8 km) state highway in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. Its routing is located within portions of Union and Towns counties.

Cowrock Mountain mountain in United States of America

Cowrock Mountain is a mountain that is located in Lumpkin and White counties in Georgia. The mountain forms a north/south ridge. Its northern peak, Cowrock, has an elevation of 3,852 feet (1,174 m) and its southern peak, Cowrock Flat, has an elevation of 3,502 feet (1,067 m). The boundary line between Lumpkin and White counties follows the ridge formed by Cowrock Mountain. The peak called Cowrock is the highest point in Lumpkin County, forms the northeast corner of the county. The Appalachian Trail also crosses Cowrock Mountain. The mountain is located within the Raven Cliffs Wilderness in the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Wolfpen Ridge

Wolfpen Ridge is a ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains in U.S. state of Georgia that runs south to north along the boundary between Towns and Union counties. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia, is located at the northern end of the ridge. At the southern end of the ridge, there is an unnamed peak with an elevation of 4,561 feet, which makes it the fifth-highest point in Georgia.

Grassy Ridge

Grassy Ridge is a ridge in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia that runs south to north along the Eastern Continental Divide in Rabun County, Georgia. At the southern end of the ridge, there is an unnamed peak with an elevation of just over 3,800 feet (1,200 m). From there, the ridge runs north, crossing the boundary between Georgia and North Carolina at just over 4,360 feet (1,330 m) and then ultimately joining Ridgepole Mountain in North Carolina. In between its southernmost point and North Carolina, there is another unnamed peak with an elevation of just over 4,420 feet and a gap called Nichols Gap with an elevation of 4,169 feet (1,271 m). Rocky Knob is a name used to describe eight different mountain peaks located in the North Georgia mountains that are scattered among four different Georgia counties.

Arkaquah Trail

The Arkaquah Trail is a hiking trail that has been designated as a National Recreation Trail in Georgia. The trail is 5.5 miles (8.25 km) long and is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest in the Brasstown Ranger District. The trail is managed by the U.S. Forest Service.

Jacks Knob Trail

Jacks Knob Trail is a hiking trail that has been designated as a National Recreation Trail in Georgia, US. The trail is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) long and is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest in the Brasstown Ranger District. The trail is managed by the U.S. Forest Service.

Blue Bluff is a cliff located in Union County, Georgia at the approximate midpoint of Locust Log Ridge. The elevation above the bluff is 4,106 feet. An overlook is accessible via the Arkaquah Trail. Blue Bluff is located east of Brasstown Bald in the Brasstown Wilderness.

Roan Mountain (Roan Highlands)

Roan Mountain is the highpoint of the Unaka Range of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, located in the Southeastern United States. The mountain is clad in a dense stand of Southern Appalachian spruce-fir forest, and includes the world's largest natural rhododendron garden, and the longest stretch of grassy bald in the Appalachian range. The Cherokee National Forest and Pisgah National Forest converge atop the mountain, with Roan Mountain State Park located near its northern base. The Appalachian Trail traverses most of the Roan's crest. The Roan High Knob Shelter is the highest back-country shelter on the entire 2,174-mile (3,499 km) trail.

Pigeon Mountain (Georgia) mountain in the US State of Georgia

Pigeon Mountain is a summit in Walker County, Georgia. At its highest point, the mountain has an elevation of around 2,330 feet (710 m). Ellison's Cave and Petty John's Cave are located on the mountain. Most of the mountain is located inside the Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area.

White Oak Mountain is a mountain located in northwestern Georgia and southeastern Tennessee. The mountain is part of the Ridge and Valley Appalachians.
