Point Douglas is a provincial electoral district in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is named for a part of the city that is surrounded by a bend in the Red River. The riding covers the neighbourhoods of William Whyte, Dufferin Industrial, North Point Douglas, Lord Selkirk Park and South Point Douglas plus parts of St. John's Park, St. John's, Inkster-Faraday, Burrows Central, Robertson, Dufferin, Logan C.P.R., Civic Centre and the Exchange District. It was also Winnipeg's only government supported red light district.

Matthew Robert Rudolph "Matt" Wiebe, is a Canadian politician who is the current Minister of Justice and Attorney General and Minister for Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation Act for Manitoba since October 18, 2023. A member of the New Democratic Party of Manitoba (NDP), he represents the electoral district of Concordia. Wiebe was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba in a by-election on March 2, 2010. He succeeded the province's former premier, Gary Doer. He has been re-elected in the general elections of 2011, 2016, 2019, and 2023. Wiebe previously served as Whip for the NDP while it was Official Opposition and the Critic for the departments of Municipal Relations and Infrastructure from 2019 to 2023.

She was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba in the 2023 Manitoba general election, representing the district of Southdale as a member of the Manitoba New Democratic Party. Cable is Métis and moved with her family to Windsor Park in her constituency one year before the 2023 Manitoba general election.
