The Schreck Ensemble is a Dutch new music ensemble founded in 1989 by composers Arie van Schutterhoef and Hans van Eck. The name of the ensemble is a combination of the founders surnames and a reference to the actor Max Schreck. The Schreck Ensemble performs and commissions electroacoustic music. They also program their own software with the SuperCollider programming language, and develop their own hardware for the production and performance of electroacoustic music.

The 2015 ISCM World Music Days of the International Society for Contemporary Music were held from 26 September to 2 October 2015 in Slovenia, which had previously hosted the 2003 ISCM World Music Days. Artistic director was again Slovene composer Pavel Mihelčič, who also directs the annual Unicum Contemporary Music Festival. Organized in cooperation with the Society of Slovene Composers, the festival brought together a selection of recently composed music from six continents. In the main programme, about 40 Slovenian compositions with a focus on young Slovenian composers were presented along with 50 foreign compositions.
The Antwerp Symphony Orchestra is the symphony orchestra of Flanders (Belgium), based in the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp. The orchestra is led by chief conductor Elim Chan and honorary conductor Philippe Herreweghe. The organisation, which is one of the seven art institutions of the Flemish Community, is one of the most important cultural representatives in the region. It is one of only two Belgian orchestras that have the right to style themselves as "royal", hence its full name "Antwerp Symphony Orchestra - the royal philharmonic orchestra of Flanders".
