Kid Rock is the sixth studio album by American musician Kid Rock, his fourth Atlantic Records album. It was released in 2003 and is his final release on Lava Records. It was critically acclaimed by Rolling Stone, which named it one of the 50 Greatest Albums of 2003. "Black Bob" and "Jackson, Mississippi" were recorded for his 1996 album Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp in 1995, but were left off the album. "Feel Like Makin' Love", "Cold and Empty", "Intro", "Hillbilly Stomp" and "Run Off to LA" were recorded for the demo sessions for 2001's Cocky, but did not make the cut as well. "Feel Like Makin' Love" originally had Sheryl Crow on the song. Country singer Kenny Chesney co-wrote "Cold and Empty".
Whiskeytown was an American alternative country band formed in 1994 from Raleigh, North Carolina. Fronted by Ryan Adams, the group included members Caitlin Cary, Phil Wandscher, Eric "Skillet" Gilmore, and Mike Daly. They disbanded in 2000 with Adams leaving to pursue his solo career. Whiskeytown gradually expanded its sound outside the confines of alternative country while still maintaining its alternative roots.
Drive-By Truckers are an American rock band based in Athens, Georgia. Two of five current members are originally from The Shoals region of northern Alabama and met as roommates at the University of North Alabama. The group also has roots in Richmond, Virginia.
Roy Z Ramirez is an American guitarist, songwriter and record producer, best known for his work with Bruce Dickinson, Halford, and Judas Priest. He also is the founder of Tribe of Gypsies, a Latin-influenced hard rock band. Roy also helped write and produce the band Life After Death in 1996.

Breadwinner was a math rock-band based in Richmond, Virginia, composed of Pen Rollings (guitar), Robert Donne (bass), and Chris Farmer (drums). Rollings had previously been a member of hardcore punk outfit Honor Role. Merge Records released two 7-inch singles and one full-length album, Burner (1994), comprising the two out of print singles and three unreleased tracks, after the band had broken up. It was the band's first release on Arista Records, their last one before changing its name to the Dregs, and contains a re-recording of one of their earlier songs, which appeared on their 1976 demo The Great Spectacular.

The first singles released from the album from 1986 to 1988 were "Wild-Eyed Dream" and "Crime of Passion", which charted at #24 and #7, respectively. The last three singles, "Somebody Lied", "Life Turned Her That Way", and "Don't We All Have The Right" all reached #1. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA on July 24, 1989.
Backroads is the fifth studio album by American country music artist Ricky Van Shelton. The first three singles released from the album, "Rockin' Years", "I Am a Simple Man", and "Keep It Between the Lines" were all number-one hits. Making Plans is the eighth studio album by country music artist Ricky Van Shelton. This album was released exclusively through Wal-Mart, so it was unable to chart and no singles were released. This was Van Shelton's only release under the Vanguard label.
Fried Green Tomatoes is the ninth and final studio album by country music artist Ricky Van Shelton. Of the two singles released, "The Decision" charted at number 71 while "Call Me Crazy" failed to chart. This was his only release for the Audium label. "All I Have to Offer You Is Me" is a cover of a Charley Pride single. "I'm the One" was previously recorded by McBride & the Ride on their 1992 album Sacred Ground, which also includes a cover of "All I Have to Offer You Is Me".
Love Is is the second album released by American country music artist Kevin Sharp. The only single released from the album, "If She Only Knew", failed to reach the top 40 in the charts while the album itself reached number 36 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. "Her Heart Is Only Human" was originally recorded by Ty Herndon on his 1996 album Living in a Moment.
Fun is the eleventh studio album by American country music artist Garth Brooks. Announced in 2018, the album experienced production delays and its release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually culminating in a release date of November 20, 2020. The lead single, "All Day Long", was released on June 19, 2018, followed by a second single, "Stronger Than Me", on November 19, 2018. The third single, "Dive Bar", a duet featuring Blake Shelton, was released on June 18, 2019. The fourth single, "Shallow", a duet featuring Trisha Yearwood, was released on December 1, 2020. The fifth single, "That's What Cowboys Do" was released on June 29, 2021. A selection of seven tracks were available for streaming via Amazon Music prior to the album's release.
