Gerhard "Gerry" Friedle, better known by his stage name DJ Ötzi, is an Austrian pop and Schlager singer. Successful mainly in German-speaking countries, he is best known in the English-speaking world for his 2000 single "Hey Baby ", a cover version of the Bruce Channel song "Hey! Baby". His stage name comes from Ötzi the Iceman, the name given to the 5,300-year-old frozen remains of a mummified man discovered in 1991 in South Tyrol's Ötztal Alps.
"Fast Food Song" is a song made famous by British-based band Fast Food Rockers, although it existed long before they recorded it, as a popular children's playground song. The chorus is based on the Moroccan folk tune "A Ram Sam Sam" and mentions fast food restaurants McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut.

"Dragostea Din Tei" is a song by Moldovan pop group O-Zone, released as the second single from their third studio album, DiscO-Zone (2004). The song's title is Romanian for "Love from the linden tree". The song received positive reviews from critics and shot to number one on the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles, where it remained for 12 weeks between June and early September 2004. It topped the single charts in France, Germany, and Austria for over three months, reached number 3 in the United Kingdom and number 72 on the US Pop 100. The song became the fourth best-selling single of the 21st century in France, with 1.17 million units sold.

Groove Coverage is a German dance band which consists of Axel Konrad, DJ Novus, Melanie Munch, better known as Mell, and Verena Rehm. Producers of the band are Ole Wierk and Axel Konrad. The project was founded in the summer of 2001 by DJ Novus, in co-operation with Suprime Music (Konrad). With eleven singles in the German Top 50 and over 13 million records sold worldwide, Groove Coverage is one of the most successful German dance artists.
Opus was a pop-rock group from Graz, Austria. Formed in 1973, the group remained active until 2021, when they retired. The band is mainly known for its 1985 single release, "Live Is Life", which reached the Top 10 in several European countries.
"Children of the Revolution" is a song by T. Rex, written by Marc Bolan. It was a UK No. 2 hit single in September 1972. The song broke their sequence of four official single releases all reaching No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart. It did not receive a regular album release.
"Do Wah Diddy Diddy" is a song written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich and originally recorded in 1963, as "Do-Wah-Diddy", by the American vocal group the Exciters. "Hey! Baby" is a song written by Margaret Cobb and Bruce Channel, first recorded at Clifford Herring Studios in Ft. Worth Tx, and recorded by Channel in 1961, first released on LeCam Records, a local Fort Worth, Texas label. After it hit, it was released on Smash Records for national distribution. Channel co-produced the song with Major Bill Smith and released it on Mercury Records' Smash label. It reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks, starting the week ending March 10, 1962.
"My Boy Lollipop" is a song written in the mid-1950s by Robert Spencer of the doo-wop group The Cadillacs, and usually credited to Spencer, Morris Levy, and Johnny Roberts. It was first recorded in 1956 by American singer Barbie Gaye under the title My Boy Lollypop. A later version recorded by Jamaican singer Millie Small in 1964, with very similar rhythm, became an international hit that time and is one of the first songs to introduce ska music.

"Live Is Life" is a 1984 song by Austrian pop rock band Opus. It was released as the first single from their first live album, Live Is Life (1984), and was also included on the US version of their fourth studio album, Up and Down (1984). The song was a European number-one hit in the summer of 1985, and also reached number one in Canada and the top 40 in the US in 1986. It has been covered by many artists.
"Sucker DJ" is a song by American rapper Dimples D. It was written by Buddy Kaye, Crystal Smith, Hugo Montenegro and Marlon Williams and originally released in 1983 by Party Time Records, without any success in the charts. In 1990, Dutch DJ and producer Ben Liebrand remixed the song, including a sample of the theme tune of American sitcom I Dream of Jeannie, written by Montenegro and Kaye.
Fast Food Rockers were a British pop group known briefly for their novelty music. The band met at a fast-food convention in Folkestone in the summer of 2003.
"Anton aus Tirol" is a song by Austrian musician Anton featuring DJ Ötzi. It was released in 1999 as the lead single from the album Das Album as both musicians' debut single. It was originally written by Slovenian author Vili Petrič in 1972. The track reached number one in Anton and DJ Ötzi's native Austria, where it stayed for 10 weeks, and in Germany, where it topped the German Singles Chart for one week; it was the best-selling single of 2000 in both countries. The single also peaked at number two in Flanders, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
Never Stop the Alpenpop is the first compilation album by Austrian singer DJ Ötzi, released on 27 August 2001 in Europe by EMI, and in 2002 in Australia by Shock Records. It compiles tracks originally released on Ötzi's first two albums released in German-speaking Europe, Das Album and Love, Peace & Vollgas (2001), including the international hits "Hey Baby " and "Do Wah Diddy". The Australian version of the album marks the first appearance of Ötzi's collaboration with Dutch group Hermes House Band, "Live Is Life ", which was included elsewhere in the world on Ötzi's 2002 album Today Is the Day.
