Lorenz Schmidt or Lorentz Schmidt (1884 - 1952) was a prominent architect in Kansas. [1] He designed the Fresh Air Baby Camp [2] and Woolf Brothers Clothing Company buildings, both listed on the National Register of Historic Places. He was made a fellow of the American Institute of Architects. His firm was Lorentz Schmidt & Co.

He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1913. [3]

Cayetano Simplicio Arellano y Lonzón was the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines under the American Civil Government. It was one of many legally licensed releases of the Arcadia 2001 home video game console and was trademarked on March 29, 1982. The production discontinued in 1984. The console looks exactly like the 2001 except for the label on the housing and packaging of the console. It was also released in a white version which is more rare. The system is not to be confused with a clone of the Intellivision which was released under the name "Leisurevision".

Julian Franklin Everett was an American architect known for the buildings he designed in Seattle, Washington. His work includes a synagogue for the Temple de Hirsch congregation (1908) and the Pioneer Square Comfort Station and Pergola in Seattle (1909), now a historic landmark. Some of his works, including the temple and a building for Pathé Exchange, were later demolished, while others are listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

The Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy is a Canadian military band in the Royal Canadian Navy based in Halifax. It serves as official military band of the Maritime Forces Atlantic Command (MARLANT). It is one of six regular force military bands in the Canadian Forces. It provides musical accompaniment for ceremonial requirements of the East Coast Navy. The Stadacona Band usually performs at the Halifax dockyard to take part in the welcoming naval vessels. The Band of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals was a regimental military band in Canada based out of Canadian Forces Base Kingston in Ontario. It is a voluntary band, which means that its band members are not composed of full-time professional musicians. Chembilayil Abraham Kurian was an Indian trade union leader, legislator, and leader of the Communist Party of India. He was born to Abraham of the Chembilayil house. He was the Chair of Deputy Speaker in the 10th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He was first elected to the 5th Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1977 from Peermade constituency. He represented the same constituency in the 6th and 10th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He was a bank employee before entering politics in 1960; Detained for 17 months in Viyur Central Jail during 1965-66 and also imprisoned for 27 months for different periods.
