Lorenzo Iorio, born in Bari, Italy, is an Italian physicist working in general relativity, gravitation and related topics in astronomy and astrophysics. He works at the Ministry of Public Education (Italy).
Iorio is editor-in-chief of the peer-reviewed scientific journal Universe , published by MDPI. [1] In May 2019, he qualified as a full professor in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics of the Earth and Planets, and Theoretical Physics. [2] [3] In September 2019, he qualified as an associate professor in the same fields. [4] [5] Iorio is a member of the International Astronomical Union. [6]
