St. Albert is a city in Alberta on the Sturgeon River northwest of the City of Edmonton. It was originally settled as a Métis community, and is now the second-largest city in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. St. Albert first received its town status in 1904 and was reached by the Canadian Northern Railway in 1906. Originally separated from Edmonton by several miles of farmland, the 1980s expansion of Edmonton's city limits placed St. Albert immediately adjacent to the larger city on St. Albert's south and east sides.

Father Michael Troy Catholic Junior High School is a school located in Wild Rose in the southeastern part of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. During construction of the school in 2002, there was a severe thunderstorm on July 1. During the storm, lightning struck the school, causing the ventilation system to catch fire. The damage was minimal due to heavy rain, the school still was able to open on schedule. Their mascot is a Trytons.
Louis St. Laurent Catholic School is a fine arts oriented Junior and Senior High School in the Edmonton Catholic School District, located in south western Edmonton. It is also known as "Louis" or "LSL" by students and staff. The school averages a student body of approximately 1,000 or more pupils each year, spanning grades 7 through 12. From 2009 to 2022, the entire school participated in the International Baccalaureate program. As of 2016, a few students participate in the Spanish bilingual program. The school currently has an enrollment of just under 1,300 students. Paul Kane's school colours are blue and white, with its sports teams being named the Blues. PKHS has sports programs including basketball, rugby, volleyball, and football.

Edmonton-Beverly-Clareview is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada. Concordia High School, originally named Concordia College, and subsequently Concordia College High School until 1997, was created with the purpose of preparing young men to attend the Lutheran Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Once ordained, they would return to the Canadian Prairies to open up new Lutheran churches. Concordia was established in 1921 with a first class of eighth grade boys. In the 1940s the school became co-ed and became an academic prep school. After World War II the high school continued as a grade nine to twelve program.
St. Albert Public Schools, formally St. Albert Public School District No. 5565, is a public school authority within the Canadian province of Alberta operated out of St. Albert. The board is a member of Zone 2/3. The district was formerly known as Protestant Separate School District No. 6. Approximately 8,000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools.
Joseph M. Demko School is a dual-track elementary-junior high school in the new Jensen lakes neighborhood in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. The school is a member of St. Albert Public Schools, its parent school district. The school is named after Joseph Demko, a former teacher and superintendent of the district.
