History

The club was found in 2001.

LATHC participated at the 2019 IHF North American and Caribbean Super Globe Qualifier. [1]

Contents

LATHC has its home court and training at the indoor practice grounds of MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy in Torrance, California.

LATHC won the 2020 Valley of the Sun team handball tournament in Tempe, Arizona immediately before the COVID-19 pandemic.

As with all African clubs, the club qualifies through winning the African Handball Champions League, or the African Handball Super Cup. Zamalek had their best achievement in the IHF Super Globe when they won a bronze medal in 2010. In their 5 participations, Zamalek has never placed lower than 5th place.
