The Berryessa Union School District is a school district based in the Berryessa district of San Jose, California. It operates thirteen elementary schools (K-5) and three middle schools (6-8). The district's superintendent is Dr. Roxane Fuentes. The Berryessa schools have tended to improve over the last decade, with the top performer, Northwood Elementary School, having an API of 903 as of fall 2008. In 2011, Vinci Park Elementary School had the largest API increase in district history, having a 48-point increase. Graduates from the middle schools normally attend Piedmont Hills High School or Independence High School. The Campbell Historical Museum is a local history museum located in Campbell, California. The museum, a section of the City of Campbell's Recreation & Parks, is the steward of the public trust of artifacts, photographs, archives and historic sites owned by the city. The museum is also responsible for archives, photographs, and objects related to the city's five historic sites: John Colpitts Ainsley House, Campbell Union Grammar School, Campbell Union High School Historic District, Galindo-Leigh House, and the Earl and Virginia Young House.

The West Valley Athletic League was a high school athletic league under the auspices of the CIF Central Coast Section. The league generally covered the schools of the Campbell Union High School District and Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District. The league was formed in the mid 1960s with the advent of new schools. Older schools like Campbell and Los Gatos had previously played in the Santa Clara Valley Athletic League. As schools closed the league reformatted and many of the remaining schools joined what became the West Valley Division of the Blossom Valley Athletic League.
