Losing Days is an EP released by Frank Turner on Sept. 1, 2013 via Xtra Mile. Losing Days was the third single from Turner's fourth studio album Tape Deck Heart . The other three songs on this EP were recorded during the Tape Deck Heart sessions. [1]

Frank Turner English singer-songwriter

Francis Edward "Frank" Turner is an English punk and folk singer-songwriter from Meonstoke, Hampshire. He began his career as the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead, then embarked upon a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005. In the studio and during live performances, Turner is accompanied by his backing band, The Sleeping Souls, which consists of Ben Lloyd, Tarrant Anderson (bass), Matt Nasir and Nigel Powell (drums).

Campfire Punkrock is the first EP by UK based songwriter Frank Turner. The EP was released via Xtra Mile Recordings on May 15, 2006. The vinyl release includes a live version of "The Ballad of Me and My Friends" and is pressed on a sulfur-yellow 10" vinyl. The EP was recorded at the Oxford home of Frank Turner's bass player by his guitarist. It was mixed by Tristan Ivemy who also mixed the Love, Ire and Song album and who helped record and produce Frank Turner's fourth full-length release England Keep My bones.

He currently plays electric guitar in Frank Turner's band The Sleeping Souls and is a member of the British rock band Dive Dive. He also recorded and produced Frank Turner's first EP Campfire Punkrock (2006) and his first two albums Sleep Is for the Week (2007) and Love Ire & Song (2008). He is endorsed by Laney Amplification and Ernie Ball Strings. Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls headlined Wembley Arena in April 2012 and played at the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Tarrant Anderson English musician

Tarrant Anderson is the bass player for Frank Turner's live and studio band, The Sleeping Souls and is a member of the British rock band Dive Dive. He was previously a member of the British punk band Dustball and is based in Oxford, England. Anderson is a Laney endorsed artist. He is also a director of the tour bus hire company Vans For Bands Ltd. Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls won Best Live Act at the Association of Independent Music Awards in 2011 and headlined London's Wembley Arena in April 2012. In July 2012 Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls played at the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games in London. Anderson studied politics at the University of Reading and an MPhil. in Politics at the University of Oxford.

Matt Nasir is a multi-instrumental musician based in London, England. He currently plays Keyboards in Frank Turner's band The Sleeping Souls and is a member of the London-based rock band 'The Pressure Room'. He has also previously played in Andy Yorke's live band and is known as the 'Archivist' for his remixing work. Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls headlined Wembley Arena in April 2012 and played at the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Matt also features as the guitarist in a side-project, Möngöl Hörde, with Frank Turner and Frank's former Million Dead band mate, Ben Dawson. Matt plays a baritone guitar in Möngöl Hörde.

The title track was originally featured on Turner's fifth studio album Tape Deck Heart, and a music video was released on September 19, 2013. Turner covers three artists on this EP -- Frightened Rabbit's "The Modern Leper", Biffy Clyro's "Who's Got a Match?", which was also released on Turner's Losing Days (EP) and The Weakerthans' "Plea from a Cat Named Virtute." The EP also feature a newly released song called "Sweet Albion Blues."

Positive Songs for Negative People is the sixth studio album by English singer/songwriter Frank Turner. It was released on 7 August 2015 by Xtra Mile Recordings. The album garnered a positive reception but critics said it was derivative of Turner's previous works. Positive Songs for Negative People debuted at number 2 in the UK and number 69 on the Billboard 200 and spawned only one single: "The Next Storm". To promote the record, Turner toured across North America, Europe and Australia.
