Lost Tribe is an English electronic music group. [1] [2] As early as 1994, the group produced music together. One of the earliest tracks appeared on Fantazia III: Made In Heaven, a compilation from Carl Cox. [3]

In 1997, they released their debut The Distant Voices EP which included their single, "Gamemaster". The EP was released by Hooj Choons, a record label created by Matt Darey. The female vocal sample in "Gamemaster" (an edited arrangement from "Earth: Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library" by Barbara Marciniak) has been described as a Gaian verbalization. [4] The track contains a sample of trance song "Dreams" by Quench (1993).

They subsequently re-released "Gamemaster" as its own single on Hooj Choons, which featured a new version by Lost Tribe and many new remixes. The single peaked at number 24 on the UK Singles Chart in September 1999. [5] [6] [7]

Lost Tribe's track "Gamemaster" was included in Paul Oakenfold's compilation album Tranceport . [8] It was also included as the first track in a playlist compiled by Mixmag . [9]

Creamfields is the fifteenth DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold, released in 2004. The double album was inspired by the annual Creamfields festival which at the time took place at the "Old Liverpool Airfield" organised by the Cream brand where Oakenfold had often performed. The album was released to commemorate Oakenfold's performance at the sixth annual Creamfields festival which took place several weeks after the album's release on 28 August 2004. Oakenfold performance at the festival was headlining the Cream/Goodgreef and Mixmag Arena. Creamfields was also the third in a series of mix albums of the same name commemorating the festival, with previous albums by different DJs being released in 2000 and 2001, with both releases carrying the same name. Martin Freeland is a British Goa trance artist, record producer and DJ, who has performed under the pseudonym of Man With No Name since 1990. He is best known for the singles "Teleport" and "Floor-Essence", both of which appeared in the UK Singles Chart.

Matthew Jonathan Darey is an English trance music producer and a member of Lost Tribe. He is known for his work in the Euphoria trance series and for "Gamemaster" and his remixes of Agnelli & Nelson's "El Niño". In 2005, his first major US albums, an EP, Point Zero, and a double album, Upfront Trance, were released. Darey has sold over two million albums and singles with numerous top 10 and top 20 chart hits.

Xpander is an extended play (EP) by Welsh DJ Sasha. It was released on 5 July 1999 through Deconstruction Records, and features co-production from Charlie May, Andy Page and Gaëtan Schurrer. The EP charted on release, peaking at number 18 on the UK Albums Chart. In 1999, the EP won an award at the International Dance Music Awards for "Best Techno/Trance 12"".

Upfront Trance is a double album from DJ Matt Darey which was released in 2005. The two-CD album consists of two DJ sets performed by Darey.

"The Things That Dreams Are Made Of" is a song by the English synthpop group The Human League. It was originally recorded for the Dare album of 1981. It was remixed, remastered and released as a dance EP single in 2008; partly to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Human League, 26th anniversary of Dare and the band's Dare '07 tour. It reached number two in the official UK Dance Chart in February 2008.

Oakenfold Anthems is a compilation DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold, released in 2008 on WMTV. His eighteenth mix album, the album is a triple album containing popular electronic singles, mostly focused on the progressive house and progressive trance genres, that Oakenfold considers favourites, and the material on the album mostly draws from Oakenfold's label Perfecto Records. Indeed, the album cover contains the caption "The Classic Perfecto Mix".

"Don't You Want Me" is a song recorded by British DJ and producer Francis Wright, known under the pseudonym of Felix, released as his debut single from his album, #1 in late 1992. Musically, it samples Jomanda's "Don't You Want My Love" and credited as Felix featuring Jomanda. Released on 27 July 1992, the song reached number six on the UK Singles Chart reached number one in Finland, Spain, and Switzerland. It also went to number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart and on the European Hot 100 Singles chart. In 1995 and 1996, the song charted in the UK again, but in remixed form. British magazine Mixmag ranked the song number 98 in its "100 Greatest Dance Singles Of All Time" list in 1996.

Richard Mowatt, commonly known by his stage name Solarstone, is an Irish trance DJ and producer based in Wales. The music project Solarstone was founded as a trio, and also used the pseudonyms Young Parisians, Liquid State and Z2. Over the years, Solarstone has developed a reputation for keeping to the original and classic trance sound. He is considered to be a veteran by fans in the trance music scene. Since 2012, Solarstone has been pushing forward a Pure Trance movement through tours where he aims to keep the trance genre true to its roots.

<i>Chilled Euphoria</i> 2000 remix album (DJ mix album) by Red Jerry

Chilled Euphoria is a DJ mix album digitally mixed by British DJ Red Jerry as part of the Telstar TV's Euphoria series of DJ mixed dance music compilations. Chilled Euphoria features chill-out music, in the form of genres such as ambient music and trip hop, cross-licensed from different artists. The album was intended to be played in "post club sessions", where people chill-out in their homes listening to the album after returning home from a dance nightclub at 8 am. Some of the remixes on the album were exclusive to the album and previously unreleased, and five of them were compiled onto a double EP used to promote the album.
