Loughborough University is a public research university in the market town of Loughborough, Leicestershire, in the East Midlands of England. It has been a university since 1966, but the institution dates back to 1909, when the then Loughborough Technical Institute began with a focus on skills and knowledge which would be directly applicable in the wider world. In March 2013, the university announced it had acquired the former broadcast centre at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which opened as a second campus in 2015.

Goose Creek Memorial High School is a public high school in an unincorporated area of Harris County, Texas, United States and is located north of Baytown. Goose Creek Memorial is one of the three public high schools in the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District and was built to accommodate the growing population of northern Goose Creek CISD. It was opened with grades 9 to 11 for the 2008-2009 school year, adding students in grade 12 the following year. In 2011, the school was rated "Academically Acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.

Marion Technical College, often referred to as Marion Tech or MTC, is a public technical college in Marion, Ohio on a campus that is shared with Ohio State University at Marion. Founded in 1970 with classes beginning in 1971, MTC has awarded over 7,500 associate degrees. The college offers associate degrees, certificates, and transfer programs in the areas of Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Public Service, Health, and Arts and Sciences. The college practices open admissions. High school students comprise about 42% of MTC's enrollment.

The Rutgers University Debate Union (RUDU) is Rutgers University's intercollegiate debate team. Re-founded in 2001, the Union's roots extend back to the 18th century literary societies that existed at Rutgers. There have also been the tradition of King's-Queen's Debates with Columbia University when Rutgers was known under its founding name of Queen's College.
The Epinal was Loughborough University's first independent student newspaper. It was founded in August 2012 and was run by and for students of the university. Tab Media Limited took over ownership of The Epinal in Spring 2014.
Sydenham House, the manor house of the ancient manor of Sydenham in the parish of Wembdon, Somerset, England, is a grade II listed building, constructed in the early 16th century and refronted and rebuilt after 1613. In 1937, British Cellophane Ltd set up production and built extensive factories on 59 acres (24 ha) of land adjacent to the manor house. Production ceased in 2005 and between 2010 and 2015 the industrial site was razed to the ground. In 2015 the razed site is owned by EDF Energy, which in 2012 purchased the manor house with the former factory site, intended for construction of temporary accommodation for 1,000 workers.
