Louis Talpe (born 22 May 1981) is a Belgian actor. He is known for playing Toby on the Studio 100 show Mega Mindy and has appeared most recently as Eliab on the ABC-produced drama Of Kings and Prophets .

Career

Talpe was born in Kortemark and performed in guest roles including in the shows 16+, Spring, The Kotmadam and Rupel. In 2006, he landed a role as Toby in Mega Mindy , a production of Studio 100. From September 2008 to January 2009, Talpe was busy shooting the VRT series Goesting.

On 5 March 2012, Talpe appeared as Mike Brandt in the soap opera Good times, bad times. On 29 August 2013, it was announced that Talpe would play the role of DJ Lo-Tus in the television show Love with Ibiza. [1]

In 2015, he played the role of Roel Thevange in the TV show Spitbroers. [2] He will be playing Vincent in the upcoming film Wat Mannen Willen (2015), his first role in a film for a long time.

Musicals

There are now two musicals produced of the show Mega Mindy. Talpe performed in these two musicals as agent Toby. The first musical, Mega Mindy and the Brilliant Emerald ran between 2008 and 2009 in both Belgium and the Netherlands. This was followed by Mega Mindy and the Doll Master in 2010.

In 2014, Talpe starred in the musical spectacle '14 -'18.

K3 is an all-female Belgian-Dutch music group with a Dutch language repertoire and primarily enjoyed by pre-and adolescent children. Corbin Bleu American actor

<i>Mega Mindy</i>

Mega Mindy is a Flemish children's television series with a supernatural/superhero drama theme. The series was created by Studio 100 and airs on the Flemish TV channel Ketnet. It centers around a young woman, Mieke,, who lives with her grandparents and works as a police officer but also has a secret identity as superhero Mega Mindy. She tries to keep it a secret, but falls in love with Toby who also works at the police. He is in love with Mega Mindy and does not know that Mieke secretly likes him and is actually Mega Mindy. She tries to find a way to balance between work and being a superhero, but it is not always easy.

Toby Sedgwick is a British movement director, actor, and theatre choreographer. He achieved critical acclaim for his expressive "horse choreography" for life-size puppets used in War Horse (2007), which played at West End's New London Theatre, Broadway's Vivian Beaumont Theater and Toronto's Princess of Wales Theatre. <i>14-18, the musical</i>

14-18, the musical is a Flemish musical about the First World War with the music of Dirk Brossé. The original production by Gert Verhulst and Hans Bourlon opened in April 2014 at the Nekkerhal in Mechelen, directed by Frank Van Laecke and produced by Studio 100. The show closed on November 11, 2014, after being seen by more than 320,000 visitors.
