Louise Jane Stanton OBE (born 14 August 1968) is a British diplomat who served as British High Commissioner to Malta from 2009 to 2012. [1] She is a member of the Royal Navy Association of Malta.
Born in Bedfordshire,she was educated at Dame Alice Harpur School,Queen Mary University of London (BA German &Linguistics 1990),and King's College London (MA International Security &Strategic Studies,2013). [2]

Her former world record time of 52.74 secs in 1993,still ranks in the world all-time top ten and is the current British record.
