"Love (Is All We Need)" is a song recorded by British DJ Adam J, and features Sugababes' Amelle Berrabah and production team The Nightcrashers. It was released on 19 August 2013, and is Berrabah's second solo release as a featured artist since her collaboration with Tinchy Stryder on his single "Never Leave You" in 2009. The song is credited to Adam J as lead artist and features Amelle's vocals. The song failed to chart.

Background

In May 2013, Amelle Berrabah confirmed she'd nearly completed work on her solo album, and was looking to release the collection some time in the summer. [1] Berrabah later revealed further details about her solo album, and hinted at the release of a new single: "I'll be starting a promo at the end of June with my single and the rest will fit into place. I'm really excited and can't wait." [2] In June 2013 it was announced that Amelle Berrabah had teamed up with British DJ Adam J for his new single, which was stated to feature production team The Nightcrashers. [3] The single was released on 19 August 2013. [4]

Music video

A lyric video for the song was released onto YouTube on 24 June 2013, which also confirmed Berrabah's collaboration with Adam J. [5] On 19 July 2013, Nightcrasher Records previewed a 'Behind the Scenes' video of the shoot for the single. [6] The official music video for the single premiered on 26 July. [7] The video shows Amelle singing in a nightclub, while other scenes show a couple's romantic relationship story, with Adam J acting as a narrator.

Sugababes British girl group

Sugababes are a British girl group, composed of founding members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy. Formed in 1998 by All Saints manager Ron Tom, they released their debut album One Touch through London Records in November 2000, which achieved moderate success and spawned the top ten single "Overload". In Autumn 2001, Donaghy departed the group and was replaced by Heidi Range. With Range's introduction, the group began to experience a higher level of commercial success, going on to release three multi-Platinum selling albums: Angels with Dirty Faces (2002), Three (2003) and Taller in More Ways (2005). In December 2005, Buena left the band and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Heidi Range Musical artist

Heidi India Partakis is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for being a former member of the group Sugababes. Range was an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten, although she left the group two years before releasing any material. In 2001, Range replaced Siobhán Donaghy of the Sugababes and had accumulated six UK number one singles as well as two number one studio albums with the group before splitting in 2011. Range has since concentrated on theatre work and motherhood.

Buchanan was asked to leave the group in September 2009 and was replaced by Jade Ewen.

"Freedom" is a promotional song by English girl group Sugababes. It was written by Jason Pebworth, Jon Shave, George Astasio, Kyle Abrahams, Peter Ighile, Mariah Young-Jones and Rowan Martin, and produced by The Invisible Men in collaboration with Parker & James. The song premiered in May 2011 during a music festival in Morocco, and was promoted with various snippets and teasers in addition to an advertisement for the Nokia N8. It is an electropop song with elements of dubstep. It is the final song this lineup released following them disbanding and the original lineup reforming.
