Sugababes are a British girl group, composed of founding members Keisha Buchanan, Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy. Formed in 1998 by All Saints manager Ron Tom, they released their debut album One Touch through London Records in November 2000, which achieved moderate success and spawned the top ten single "Overload". In Autumn 2001, Donaghy departed the group and was replaced by Heidi Range. With Range's introduction, the group began to experience a higher level of commercial success, going on to release three multi-Platinum selling albums: Angels with Dirty Faces (2002), Three (2003) and Taller in More Ways (2005). In December 2005, Buena left the band and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Following the release of their first greatest hits album, the new line-up released two further studio albums: Change (2007) and Catfights and Spotlights (2008).
Heidi India Partakis is an English singer-songwriter. She is best known for being a former member of the group Sugababes. Range was an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten, although she left the group two years before releasing any material. In 2001, Range replaced Siobhán Donaghy of the Sugababes and had accumulated six UK number one singles as well as two number one studio albums with the group before splitting in 2011. Range has since concentrated on theatre work and motherhood.
Keisha Kerreece Fayeanne Buchanan is a British singer and songwriter, and a founding member of the girl group Sugababes alongside Mutya Buena and Siobhán Donaghy. With the Sugababes, Buchanan had six number one singles and two number one studio albums, making the Sugababes one of the most successful British pop acts of the 21st century. Buchanan was asked to leave the group in September 2009 and was replaced by Jade Ewen.
Amelle Berrabah, also known mononymously as Amelle, is an English singer-songwriter, best known for being a former member of the girl group the Sugababes, replacing founding member Mutya Buena, who left the group in December 2005. She achieved a solo number one single in 2009 when she collaborated with Tinchy Stryder on their single "Never Leave You", which made her the first and, to date, the only member of the Sugababes to achieve a number-one single outside of the group.

Sweet 7 is the seventh studio album by British girl group Sugababes, released on 15 March 2010, by Island Records. Production for the album began in April 2009 and was completed in January 2010. Sweet 7 is the only album released since the controversial departure of Keisha Buchanan, who was replaced by Eurovision Song Contest 2009 entrant Jade Ewen in September 2009. As a result of the group line-up change, Sweet 7 was re-recorded to feature the vocals of new member Ewen and for the removal of former member Buchanan's vocals. As a result, this is the only album that features none of the original members.

"Freedom" is a promotional song by English girl group Sugababes. It was written by Jason Pebworth, Jon Shave, George Astasio, Kyle Abrahams, Peter Ighile, Mariah Young-Jones and Rowan Martin, and produced by The Invisible Men in collaboration with Parker & James. The song premiered in May 2011 during a music festival in Morocco, and was promoted with various snippets and teasers in addition to an advertisement for the Nokia N8. It is an electropop song with elements of dubstep. It is the final song this lineup released following them disbanding and the original lineup reforming.
